Septembers always feel like a month of new beginnings for me. The heat of summer subsides, making way for the crisp autumn air. There’s the premonition that winter will be just around the corner but there is still time to savor the moment. New beginnings also bring hope.

In these pages, our hope is that you will be inspired by thoughtful reflections and intriguing invitations. Emerging Worship Leader Brian Schroeder’s lead article talks about the many chapters of Lord of Life’s history and encourages you to think about your own. Pastor Peter reminds us of the importance of being still and listening for God. There are also ways to get involved, in whatever season of life you may be in.
