Isaiah Townsend - Nanaimo #44
Hi. I’ve been a customer since your first store, but have never sent in feedback. I usually just talk to someone in your stores. But today a parts person “Aishah” ( probably not the correct spelling) really impressed me. I returned a part due to the catalogue being wrong. It looked like a dealer only item, which I wanted to avoid. Asiah had an idea and kept searching. We opened some boxes and he found a great match for what I needed.
Maybe not a big deal to some, but lots of people would have just provided the refund and that’s it. Like me, he wanted to find a solution. I’ve only dealt with him a few times, but he was a great help today.
Regards
-Dave (former CMBC Supervisor)
Josaih Sommerville - #61 Oliver
There was a bad accident just down the street and your driver ( Josiah Sommerville ) was quick to act. He pulled over right away with his hazards on, had some medical equipment in the vehicle with him and went to assess the drivers. One of the drivers required help getting out of their over turned vehicle and the other driver was clutching his chest in pain. He remained with the driver until the ambulance arrived on scene getting him into a position of comfort and monitoring him as best as he could and then he went back on his way. He was kind caring and professional and you should be proud of his actions. Please be sure to share with your management

Robert Frizzell - #61 Sechelt
I recently visited the Sechelt Lordco, looking for marine parts for a boat engine—a quest that has often met with surprise or even reluctance in the past. However, this visit was remarkably different, thanks to Bob Frizzell. Bob's expertise and proactive approach transformed my experience. He not only possesses mechanical knowledge but also anticipates customer needs with meticulousness. Bob efficiently handled my order, managed returns and replacements, and kept me updated without requiring multiple visits from my side.
It's rare to encounter someone with Bob’s skill set and dedication; his level of service and understanding makes all the difference. truly appreciated his guidance and the connections he facilitated with other specialists. Thank you for employing such capable individuals. I hope to see more representatives like Bob at Lordco, as it’s this kind of service that keeps customers returning confidently.
Best regards,
-Morgan Beall
Courtney Groenendyk - Calgary #103
I am always having a nice shopping experience in Loadco, but this time I am really impressed by her help. I was in the middle of road trip (05/24/2024) while the weather was bad and my wipers were out of order by a rental car, so I decided to try fixing the wipers by buying a new pair to replace it. When I was finding those wiper in the shop, your staff with long black hair came and assisted me in finding the suitable wipers, I also shared my situation with her. She was really helpful and even went close to my car and see what she can help. She use her profession and knowledge to explain the issue happened in the car, which I should replace the wiper transmission instead of a new wiper. She even ordered that equipment from another store immediately so I could save time in this case. I also feel sorry for bothering her for more than an hour, while she still serves me with patience. With her full assistance, I can finally use those wipers and drive safely in bad weather. Allow me to thank her again for her excellent work and share my hopes for her continued success. If any further action I can take, please contact me via this email, without her help, I may not have settled this issue in such an easy and safe way.
Sincerely,
-Narean Lai

National Health and Fitness Day
June 4th is National Health and Fitness Day! This event was designed to promote the health and wellness of all Canadians by encouraging people to get active. There has been an alarming uptrend of sedentary living in Canada, so the goal this June 4th is to stop that trend where it stands. To start a healthier trend, we’ll be going over some tips on how to stay active this month!
Why Is Exercise Important?
Exercise makes you feel great, both physically and mentally. It can help maintain your physical fitness level by increasing your mobility and muscle control, both of which keep you feeling strong and healthy. Exercise can also regulate your emotions, help relieve stress, and provide socialization. Working out with friends, family members, or teammates can help you build a community, which will also boost your mental wellness. So, how do you take advantage of all these benefits? Try exercising for at least 150 minutes per week! Exercise can be anything that gets your heart rate up, but we’ve compiled some suggestions for every activity level below.
Exercise Suggestions By Level
Low Intensity – Any activity which gets you moving at a low level where you can still talk and catch your breath easily. This type of activity level is great for beginners, those recovering from injuries or living with joint pain, and getting exercise on rest days. Some examples include:
• Walking, gardening, bowling, fishing, and household activities.
Moderate Intensity – Any activity that gets your heart pumping at a high enough level that you can talk but must take deeper breaths. This activity level is perfect for most of your 150 minutes each week and can be a great level to incorporate social time. Some examples include:
• Swimming, jogging, biking, dancing, and playing moderate intensity team sports.
Vigorous Intensity – Any activity which gets your heart beating at such a level that you need more time to recover before being able to talk. This activity level brings the same health benefits as moderate intensity exercise in less time. This is great if you want to challenge your body. Some examples include:
• High intensity team sports like basketball or soccer, swimming laps, hiking steep inclines, and doing heavy yard work.

If you’re looking for more information on how to get moving this June, check out Lordco’s new Wellness Platform on Lordco Connect! There are communities for everyone including topics like “Get Your Heart Rate Up” which discusses exercise tips, and monthly fitness challenges to stir your competitive spirit and get you inspired!
