GRAPEVINE LORDCONEWS
This year was filled with community spirit, customer connections, and memorable moments. We kicked things off with our Flaunt Your Flannel game night with the Abbotsford Canucks—an evening full of fun, hockey, and flannel pride. Don't Forget to sign up for 2026!
One of the biggest highlights came in the spring with our 35th Annual Tradeshow, which welcomed close to 10,000 attendees, making it one of our most successful industry gatherings to date. The energy on the floor was incredible, with suppliers, customers, and staff coming together to share ideas, explore new products, and strengthen relationships.
Summer brought even more excitement with a full lineup of car shows and high-octane racing events at Mission Raceway, drawing automotive fans from across North America. We also spent valuable time in Alberta capturing photos for our brand-new car calendar and reconnecting with the amazing teams and customers in that region.
As fall arrived, our Milwaukee tent events saw outstanding turnout and engagement, adding another to a busy year. Alongside events, we continued to support customers through our new website and informative seasonal content, like winter-prep tips and recaps of our big moments to reflecting our ongoing commitment to being a trusted resource across communities.
With holiday celebrations just around the corner, we want to thank you for being an integral part of this incredible year. We can’t wait to see what’s next!

AWARNESS DAY
December 10th is Human Rights Day! Human Rights Day celebrates the anniversary of the United Nations signing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and raises awareness for inequalities still present in Canada.
Why Is This Important?
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights lists the rights everyone is entitled to regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, language, political opinion, national or social origin, and birth or other status. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights takes extra care to address issues experienced by vulnerable populations. These populations include but are not limited to women, indigenous peoples, people of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, and those of the LGBTQIA+ community. These populations are often affected more by issues of inequality.
2025 Theme – Human Rights, Our Everyday Essentials
In this period of political and social turbulence, many feel a growing sense of insecurity and alienation. To combat these feelings, the theme of Human Rights Day this year is to show the importance of human rights to everyone and to emphasize that diversity is a strength.
Many of us take our rights for granted, but these rights are essential to our way of life. By highlighting the connection between our everyday lives and our rights, the United Nations aims to spark awareness, inspire confidence, and encourage collective action.
How Can You Learn About Rights and Equality?
Staying up to date with news both in Canada and around the world can help you learn about equality issues being faced by others. Watching the news, reading online newspapers, following informative social media blogs, and engaging with members of your community are all easy steps to take to stay informed about the issues in your community.
Take Action Within Your Community
As you learn more about the members of your community, you may come across issues you want to advocate for. Helping vulnerable populations and those who face inequality is a great way to promote equality and human rights within your community. Examples may include advocating for accessible children’s playgrounds or transit systems.

Opkar Bhullar - Port Coquitlam #6
I received a call last night from a gentleman named Eddie Chapman, he told me that every time he comes in to the store the staff are always so helpful. He came in again on Nov 11 for a key fob battery and was having a tough time getting it out to get the battery number. Opi helped him out and was so nice and caring towards him he had to reach out and compliment how personable he was towards Eddie, he said its so hard to come by people who really care and he could tell Opi cared.

Joseph Decker - Osoyoos #77
This saturday, Nov 22, my husband and son had a major coolant hose leak, right across the street. They managed to get the vehicle to the store parking lot and Joey was amazing with helping them diagnose and fix the problem. Customer service in Osoyoos is always great but Joey took it many steps above and beyond. I’ve dealt with Joey on many occasions and he is always happy and helpful.
Thank you Joey!

Ziaollah Roshani - Vancouver #33

I didn't know where to leave a good review, but I figured I would try asking here at the website. I just wanted to really give a shout out to Jason and Anna and crew over at the Grand Forks, BC Lordco location.
Jason in terms of customer service is a wizard. Handling so many things while at the same time? Making sure you get what you need and his customer service is stellar. Willing to help you get exactly what you need and do the best that he can to make sure to send you on your way with no issues. It seemed that he was helping so many people at the same time but also helping me get what I needed.
And above and beyond. I see him helping so many customers with their unique needs. Mine had to deal with a battery but it seems like everybody had their own issue going on and he was able to multitask and coordinate his efforts. He's definitely giving all his effort when he's there because it looks like the job requires a ton of multitasking. Hats off to him.
Anna is very patient and polite and is excellent customer service with a smile. Diligent and makes getting out of there a breeze. And the rest of the staff are amazing too.
