One last chance to shine — that's what Lorain County boys high school basketball players got Sunday night at Avon Lake. Closing out the Winter 2019 season, they took to the hardwood for the Gene Legeza Cage Classic All-Star Game. It's named for the late Chronicle-Telegram sports writer who passed away in 1992. Taevon Pierre-Louis was the star of the game. The Lorain player racked up 33 points to lead all scorers, though his red team lost 120-112.

Dziak finished with 10 points, helping the LEADERS Moving and Storage team to a 54-47 victory over Weed Pro. The latter was led by Karissa Rankin of Oberlin with 11 points.
