Welcome to French Creek Theatre We take you to Budapest, 1934, Maraczek’s Parfumerie, where love is in the air! I would like to thank my staff, production team, cast and crew. This truly has been a fun couple of months in preparation ‌ not only due to the subject matter and great music, but due to the great team assembled led by Director Jordan Cooper and Stage Manager, Julie Billinghurst. My heartfelt thanks to all of you.

CAST Eric Fancher (Steven Kodaly) is proud to be making his fifth appearance at French Creek, following You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown), Altar Boyz (Luke), Sunday in the Park with George (Franz/Dennis), and Ten Cents a Dance (George). Other selected credits include The Music Man: In Concert (Harold Hill), Godspell (“We Beseech Thee” soloist), and Sondheim’s The Frogs (Charon/ Aekos) at Cain Park; and Merrily We Roll Along (Frank) at Lakeland Civic Theatre, for which was awarded a Superior Achievement recognition for his performance by the Cleveland Critics Circle. Michael would like to thank Jordan for giving him the chance to tell this wonderful story, and his friends and family for all their love and support throughout the years. “Minnie, this one is for you.” Trey Gilpin (Ladislav Sipos) is thrilled to be in his first official French Creek Theatre production, though you may have seen him here in Sunday in the Park with George (Jules / Greenberg) or The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip). Trey’s a Kentucky native who moved here after working with the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City. Natalie Green (Ilona Ritter) is a graduate of Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association. Regionally, she has worked with Dobama Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, EJ Thomas Hall/University of Akron, Cleveland Play House, Pittsburgh Repertory Company, None Too Fragile Theatre, Mamai Theatre Company, Beck Center for the Arts, Cleveland JCC/Tri-C East, Lakeland Theatre, Fine Arts Association, Carnation City Players, TrueNorth Cultural Arts Center, Fairmount Center and Ensemble Theatre. She performs as lead singer and manager for Grand Avenue Band and is a voiceover artist with American Greetings. Natalie is proud to be part of the great artistic work that is happening in the Northeast Ohio area and beyond. Mark Hilan (Mr. Maraczek) is a retired radio news anchor with more than 30 years’ experience on the air in his hometown Chicago and also New York City. His lifelong interest
in the theatre has offered him the chance to play dramatic, comedic and musical roles s p a n n i n g the genres from William S h a ke s p e a re ’ s Much Ado About Nothing to Michael Bennett’s A Chorus Line. His recent move to downtown Cleveland also brought him to French Creek Theatre for She Loves Me, the first of what he hopes will be many more shows to come. Frank Ivancic (Arpad Laszlo) is thrilled to be back at French Creek after appearing in Parade in 2017! He cannot wait for audiences to see this incredible cast working their magic on the stage! Frank recently graduated from Cleveland State University, and is looking forward to the future! He has performed in many theaters around Cleveland including Cain Park, Lakeland Civic Theatre, Blank Canvas Theatre, and more! He is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, where he studied acting and directing, and appeared in Noises Off (Freddie), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (George), and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (Gordon). His recent directing credits include: Grease at Sandstone Summer Theater, and Willy Wonka here at French Creek. Danny graduated from
John Carroll University with a B.A. in Communications and Theatre Arts. Danny would like to thank his friends, family, extended family, and Tasha for their unconditional love and support. Actor/Actress Bios Her favorite recent performances include Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, Woman 1 in Songs for a New World, and Mrs. Brill in Mary Poppins. Other favorites include Mother/ Grandmother in Barab’s Little Red Riding Hood, Yente in Fiddler on the Roof, and Annchen in scenes from Weber’s Der Freischutz. Since graduating from Converse College with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, she has maintained a small private voice studio for almost 10 years and so enjoys the opportunity to see her students grow. No stranger to Lorain County, in a previous position she worked with the United Way of Greater Lorain County to found the Lorain County Volunteer Connection. By day, she serves on staff with Equality Ohio, our statewide LGBTQ education and advocacy organization, changing hearts, minds, and laws so that all may live authentic, courageous, extraordinary lives. She values the power of both hospitality and the arts as vehicles for working with and learning about people. She sends thanks to her friends and family for their investments of time, energy, and money so that she gets to do what brings her joy. His work in 1979 and 1981 with Geraldine Fitzgerald on Streetsongs at GLTF led to the original cast album. Mr. Kozak was the resident sound designer for four seasons at the Porthouse Theatre Company,

including productions of Driving Miss Daisy, Niteclub Confidential and a Nightingale Sang. His collaborations with Victoria Bussert at BaldwinWallace College include productions of Chess, Hair, Company, Cabaret, West Side Story, Tommy in Concert, Parade, the Ohio premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s Passion, and one of the first nonprofessional productions of Phantom of the Opera. For Cain Park, his design credits include Secret Garden, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, Bat Boy, Tick, tick…Boom, Nine, The Wiz, Harold and Maude and Pippin. Mr. Kozak has also designed sound for Wit and Last Five Years for the Dobama Theater, Iolanthe and Sweeney Todd for the Cleveland Opera, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and Forbidden Broadway SVU for the Hanna Theatre and A Shayna Maidel, Brooklyn Boy and Pangs of the Messiah for the JCC. He has served as sound designer for the All-City Musical for the Cleveland school system for eight seasons. He also had the good fortune to have worked with Bebe Neuwirth in her concert performance for the Ideastream Gala in 2005. He was honored to be among the first group of LORT sound designers to achieve recognition in USA 829. Inda Blatch-Geib (Costume Designer) has worked as a costume and production designer for over 1,000 theatrical, commercial, and film releases that has spanned 30 years and crossed 4 continents. Live performance and festival design include set design for Machine Gun Kelly’s US and European Tours, Wolstein Arena Shows, multiple EST Fests as well as Cobra microphone design. Current commercial work includes Production Design for Footlocker national commercial, Costume Design for The Cleveland Cavaliers’ 1970’s and 80’s themed videos, national spots for the team, and design for on court half-time shows including their shield design. Print designs have included set styling for Harper’s Bazaar UK Scarlett Johansson cover and spread as well as catalogue set styling for Foundations and Kilgore Trout. Ms. Blatch-Geib’s designs have been showcased in exhibits at The Smithsonian Institute as well as national and regional commercials including Microsoft, McDonald’s, Under Armour, TroyBuilt, The Original Mattress Factory, The West Virginia Lottery, and Momentive. Recent film projects include the Production and Costume Design for an upcoming cable Original series and Ohio Art Direction for The Signal starring Laurence Fishburne. Music Video Production and Costume Design includes Machine Gun Kelly’s Alpha Omega and Let You Go releases. Locally, Inda is the 2018/2019 Resident Designer for Cleveland Public Theatre, Karamu House, Magical Theatre Company, New World Performance Lab

and Cleveland Institute of Music. Upcoming Costume Design includes the mainstage production of Native Gardens at Cleveland Play House. Jessica Dupee (Assistant Stage Manager) is a recent graduate of Ashland University, where she received a B.A. in Theatre Design/ Technology! Outside of Ashland, Jessica has stage managed for Porthouse Theatre, Ohio Shakespeare Festival, and CAMEO. She is very excited to back for her second show at French Creek Theatre, and She Loves Me has quickly become one of her new favorites. Jessica is extremely grateful for this incredible opportunity, and is looking forward to the next theatrical adventure! Sarah Rounds (Sound Board Operator) is excited to be back working on her eighth show at French Creek! She graduated from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Recording Arts and currently works at Playhouse Square as a Ticketing Concierge. She is an Avon High School alumni where she was hugely involved in the drama club and was inducted into the Thespian Society. She enjoyed being on stage as much as working off stage in running crew and as head of the makeup/hair crew. In her free time, Sarah likes to sing, teach herself new instruments, hang out with friends and family, work on her sound design skills, and cuddle with her puppy.
