Our Town

Willy Wonka

Ushering in a new era of modern theatre, Thornton Wilder wrote of a people frozen in the earliest years of the 20th century. Decades later audiences continue to be moved by their simple yet universal struggles, dreams, loves and triumphs.

The world’s most famous chocolatier reemerges after years in hiding, and five lucky children win a once-in-alifetime trip through his factory.

Welcome to French Creek Theatre Welcome! I am so excited to have Parade grace our stage this spring. In past seasons we have produced 13 and The Last Five Years, both written by Jason Robert Brown as well. Parade is not only filled with beautiful music but it is a very important story line, a historical story line that took place in our country in 1913. I hope that this piece will encourage conversation serving as a vehicle to ensure such history Rick Fortney never repeat itself, even in the smallest Artistic Director, of rationalization of the truth, within our Lorain County Metro Parks own personal lives. We then can be the light for the community, and county, in which we live. There is no excuse. We wish you love, respect and peace. Please visit our exhibit in the lobby during intermission. Our thanks to the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage for the exhibit. The Maltz Museum will be sharing in a Talkback Q&A after each Sunday Matinee performance of Parade. Please read the bios of our phenomenal cast, crew and production team. I say it most every production, but we are blessed with wonderful artists who share their time and talent so beautifully. Please continue to support each here at French Creek and throughout the Northeast Ohio region as they perform from theatre to theatre. My heartfelt thanks to each of you.
