THE FUTUREHEADS

Having first emerged at the start of the ’00s amidst a burgeoning swarm of guitar bands, the Sunderland quartet, with their proud regional accents and spiky, playful sensibilities, stuck out from the off.

CHRIS HAWKINS

Our favourite ‘local boy done good and become a national DJ’ success story and now AMBASSADOR (Ferrero Rocher’s are on him) of Loopfest itself! Providing us with a DJ set that is as electric as LOOPFEST is itself.

ADULT PLAY

Genre-jumping funky indie electro babes who have wowed everyone from Simon Le Bon to Radio 6. They’re gonna be massive and we’re gonna say LOOPFEST was here first.

PASSIVE FIX

Metalcore/funk/indie. Try to define it if you will, this will lead only to futility. What we can say is just listen. Your mind will be upgraded to the latest stable operating system. You won’t ever have to play Snake 3D again.

With an up-tempo two-toned Ska-pop-punkish attack, Smoke like a Fish from Mid Wales relentlessly pump the offbeat with groove and aggression, behind brass splattered riffs, catchy choruses and social commentry.

We’re always happy to be haunted by Little Ghost. They describe themselves as a ‘crunchy three-piece rock/alternative band’ and they’re not wrong. Angsty and riled lyrics mixed with a pumped-up stage presence makes for a riot of a live set.
