The Irish/Scouse duo formed early 2022 and in that short space of time the band have already recorded in Iceland, toured Mainland Europe twice as well as racking up a gig’s across the UK.

Expect swamp blues mixed with the aggression and directness of punk.

One of the best named bands in the game, NMB bring their own excellent electro-pop to Loop Fest. Imagine Ladytron and early Depeche Mode having a fight, and not only would you have a funny image, but you’d come close to describing the squelchy beats and sounds these guys specialise in.

Packet Racket

Upbeat, punky ska, dance infused lil’ five piece who never fail to get a dance floor grooving and shaking.

Tighter than a gnats bottom and with the bounciest basslines this side of Welshpool, Packet Racket always bring oodles of energy and top notch musicianship.

If you ever wondered what Slade would sound like if they came from Telford and had a love of AC/DC and Alice Cooper then ‘TOW’ have you sorted, petal.

Loud, proud and unashamedly RAWK. ‘TOW’ also have a glam underbelly and always leave a happy audience and a full pit.

Black Bear Kiss are an indie/alternative rock band who draw influence from the 90s grunge movement as well as 70s blues rock bands such as Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones.

Judas Johnson

Loud, raw and with enough dirty riffs to fill a dirty-riff warehouse, Judas Johnson are one of Shropshire’s finest original rock bands.

Bringing to mind grunge legends like Alice in Chains but with a bombastic Muse-like underbelly, JJ always bring a fire and brimstone feel to their live sets.

Slackrr are easily one of the most talked about bands in the UK underground circuit right now. Hailing from Southampton, the band has only been active for just 4 years the band have become a well-known and widely loved name across the UK underground punk and rock scene.

A tight four-piece based in Telford, they cover the best and greatest indie/rock hits, with the odd cheeky left-field cover, they always leave a smiling crowd and a fair few drunken singalongs.

LITTLE GHOST

Self described ‘crunchy three piece rock/ alternative band’ from Shropshire, Little Ghost bring experimental touches to anthemic big, fat indie choruses.

Lyrically, they’re bitey, angsty and just a little bit riled, live they bring that pent-up anger and energy to the stage and the crowd can’t help but get swept along in their thumping sound.

DOMINO SUGAR

One of the most beloved party bands in Shropshire, Domino Sugar are a cover band that never fail to get an audience on their feet. Though focusing on rock and indie belters, they always include a few cheeky left-field covers. Expect incredible guitar solos, thumping drums and a rabid crowd.

Triers (tree ers) are a new and thoroughly exciting four-piece melodic rock band, debuting their live set at LOOPFEST.

Shrewsbury Unitarian Church is a Grade II listed building situated on the High Street in Shrewsbury, England. The meeting house was founded in its present site in 1662 by the Revd Francis Tallents and the Revd John Bryan, two dissenters ejected from St Mary’s Church and St Chad’s Church in Shrewsbury. It was destroyed by a mob of Jacobite supporters in 1715 but rebuilt the same year.

Four piece original indie band from the Midlands, the Skies are a tight, boisterous melodic bomb. With big fat choruses and galloping drums, these guys remind us of house parties and first-love summers, plus they’re the band most likely to soundtrack a montage from the In-Betweeners.
