was insecure growing up as she felt she was

the “chubby sister”, first sought solace in

exercise following her divorce from Lamar

Odom in 2013, dropping 2½st – with her

dramatic makeover leading to her own

transformation TV show, Revenge Body ,

where she shared her slimming secrets.

“I’m not seeking revenge on one

particular person,” she said. “It’s revenge

on life and being the best me. Working out

is the best form of therapy.”

She’s also enlisted the help of celebrity nutritionist Dr Philip Goglia, who has put her on a seven-small-meals-a day plan, rich in fish, fresh fruit and vegetables, while cutting out dairy, sugar, fizzy drinks and bread. She’s renowned for her yo-yo dieting, but Jessica Simpson is now looking sexier and slimmer than ever – and it seems calorie counting and bursts of intense exercise are to thank for her toned figure.

After tipping the scale at 17st, the 38-yearold mum of three shed 7st last year, slimming down in just six months after the birth of her third child, Birdie Mae, in March. The singer and actress – who prioritised walking and a protein-packed diet to shape up – revelled in her slimming success, saying, “So proud to feel like myself again. When it felt impossible, I worked harder.”

She’s kept the weight off with resistance training and short bursts of cardio four times a week, as well as following Weight Watchers’ calorie-counting plan and eating more grilled fish, fruits and vegetables. It’s believed one of her go-to diet weapons is her daily drill of walking 12,000 steps. It’s a habit she started with her trainer, Harley Pasternak. Recently, Harley said of the star’s overhaul, “After being non-stop pregnant for as long as I can remember, Jess is down 7st and looks younger today than when we met 12 years ago.” The 5ft2 star has been open about her struggle with her weight, revealing in her new memoir Open Book that she’d been takin diet pills since she w as 17. After her iconic role in 2005 film The Dukes Of Hazzard , she gained 5st during her first pregnancy with daughter Maxwell, no seven, with her husband, ex-NFL star Eric Johnson. In a skin-tight leopard-print dress, showing off her tiny waist, Adele looked almost unrecognisable as she posed with a fan at Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Oscars bash.

The 31 year old has shrunk from a size 18 to a size 10 in the nine months since splitting from husband Simon Konecki, father to her seven-year-old son Angelo – recently telling a holidaymaker on a getaway to Anguilla that she had lost a staggering 7st.

Pilates trainer Camila Goodis, who also trains Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda Field, revealed her regime helped kickstart Adele’s lifestyle overhaul, and has said of her weight loss, “I don’t believe she liked exercise much, but she has changed her lifestyle and I believe that 90 per cent was dieting.”

The singer has been supported by pal Beyoncé, who introduced her to dance classes and the ‘Sirtfood’ diet, which focuses on 20 ‘wonder foods’, including rocket salad, celery, coffee and red onion to ‘help boost metabolism’, and comprises of green juices and sirtfood-rich meals.

It’s also believed Adele has been undergoing hypnotherapy sessions with hypnotherapist Susan Hepburn, whose combination of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy has helped several celebrity clients shape up.

Harry Styles, who joined Adele on holiday in the Caribbean last month, has also encouraged her body blitz by taking her on hiking trails, gym classes, and helping with meal planning.

The singer, 25, persuaded Adele to swap sugary teas for ‘Bulletproof’ black coffees with butter and coconut oil, and has helped her cut back on meat and booze.
