Stocksbridge held a short, scaled down, socially distanced Remembrance Day Service at the Clocktower War Memorial. Wreaths were laid by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Mark Dransfield, Stocksbridge Royal British Legion, Stocksbridge Town Council, South Yorkshire Police and representatives from local community groups. Poppy displays made by the local community and schools in 2018 to mark the Centenary of the ending of WWI are, once again, on display in the Clocktower Gardens. Ecclesfield Parish Council also held a scaled down service.
