Claire Wall, 55, was shocked to find out her shed had been cleared out, with all her painting and decorating equipment, gardening tools and all her Christmas decorations gone. Claire claims the mix-up occurred after her neighbour in the adjoining flat passed away in February. She told Look Local “the council came out to clear out the flat but also managed to clear out my shed and all of its belongings” “I’ve been onto the council, and initially contacted them as far back as February 8, but they just keep passing me from one department to another” “I’m absolutely devastated and disgusted how they have treated me” Nearly two months on and a despondent Claire still hasn’t had a response from the council. “All I want is someone to take responsibility and have my stuff back”

Watchdog expresses concern over safety of mothers and babies days after damning Shrewsbury report The Care Quality Commission (CQC) found Sheffield teaching hospitals NHS foundation trust, one of the largest NHS trusts in England, had failed to make the required improvements to services when it visited in October and November, despite receiving previous warnings from the watchdog. As well as concerns across the wider trust, a focused inspection on maternity raised significant issues about the way its service is run. When it came to medical staff at the Sheffield trust, the “service did not have enough medical staff with the right qualifications, skills, and experience to keep women and babies safe from avoidable harm and to provide the right care and treatment”, the report said. The trust’s overall rating has been downgraded from “good” to “requires improvement”. Its chief executive, Kirsten Major, said she was “devastated” by the findings, and took them “extremely seriously”. She added: “We have already taken action that will help us improve, including recruiting over 500 new nurses who are now working on the wards, and there have been changes to our maternity services including investing in more midwives.”

Days and Afternoons – £10.50* Nights – £12.60*
All roles are physically demanding and the role requires the colleague to stand/ walk for prolonged periods. Colleagues also need to be capable of reading and understanding the information that is loaded up through our computer systems.
