Storms cause HavoC

Storms brought snow, heavy rain and strong winds to Sheffield this weekend causing havoc for many as the River Don burst its banks in several places. A one-two punch of powerful windstorms left north Sheffield reeling. Storms Dudley and Eunice unloaded powerful winds and driving rain uprooting trees and flooding roads, parks, properties along its path.

Covid-19 restrictions ended early

Current Covid restrictions were due to expire in England on 24 March but the government announced it will be ending Covid rules a month early on 24th February.
