RESCUE TEAM CALLS ON PUBLIC TO STICK TO EXERCISE GUIDELINES WOODHEAD Mountain Rescue had a busy weekend, with two call-outs in the local area. On Saturday May 2, the team was contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service for assistance with a casualty in Thurlstone Quarry. A woman had taken a fall whilst out riding her horse, sustaining a bang to the head resulting in a period of unconsciousness. The victim was also complaining of neck and back pain.
