SHIRLEY CARNIVAL The annual Shirley Lions Carnival takes place on Saturday 13th July in Shirley Park. The event will be opened by the Mayor at 12.00 noon and finishes at 16.00. Admittance is £3 per person or £10 for a family group. Entertainment will be provided by the Jet Force Dance & Cheer Group, Shirley Pipe Band, The Rebel Pro Wrestling Team and Punch & Judy. Other attractions include a Maze, Bumper Balls, Mini Land Rovers, Bouncy Castles and Fairground Rides. Plus there will be around 70 stalls all with something different to offer.
CARERS TRUST SOLIHULL are an independent charity and together we work in a strong partnership to actively promote the well‑being of family carers of all ages. We believe in a world where the role and contribution of family carers is recognised and they have access to the quality support and services they need to live their own lives. We are currently looking for volunteers to offer 1‑2 hours per week in various roles within the organisation, at our support groups, helping to fundraise, befriending and on our organised trips.
