CARERS TRUST SOLIHULL are an independent charity and together we work in a strong partnership to actively promote the well‑being of family carers of all ages. We believe in a world where the role and contribution of family carers is recognised and they have access to the quality support and services they need to live their own lives. We are currently looking for volunteers to offer 1‑2 hours per week in various roles within the organisation, at our support groups, helping to fundraise, befriending and on our organised trips. CHARITY PLANT SALE Saturday 25th May, 64 Lawnswood Avenue, Shirley, Solihull. Shirley Lions annual plant sale in aid of Prostate Cancer Research. Hundreds of plants, shrubs, flowers and vegetables for sale, plus numerous gardening books. The sale commences at 12.00 noon and will finish when everything is sold. As the aim is to raise funds for charity, items are not individually marked with prices, but we ask attendees to make a donation for what they feel their purchases are worth.
