GRADUATION PROGRAMME 2016
BELMONT GOVERNMENT PRIMARY
Principal’s Message Graduating Class of 2016 you have come to the end of a significant period in your life. As you peruse this memoir from time to time you will have memories of your days at Belmont Government Primary. Enjoy them, reflect on the life lessons you have learnt: some may have come through a seemingly difficult experience. Remember “No experience however bitter is entirely without gain.” Always take note of what you can learn from your experiences. Let the school’s motto be your guide –“Success Comes through Hard Work.” I charge you with the responsibility to continue to develop your minds, to reach for the stars, and most of all, to be productive (useful, beneficial, worthwhile and fruitful) believing that you were “Born to Shine.” Therefore, feed your heart and mind with Whatsoever things are true, Whatsoever things are honest, Whatsoever things are just, Whatsoever things are pure, Whatsoever things are lovely, Whatsoever things are of a good report, If there be any virtue, if it is worthy of praise, think and spend time on these things Finally students, let no one disregard you because of your age, but be an example in word, lifestyle, love, faith, spirit and purity. God Bless You

SCHOOL SONG
We build our school on Thee, O Lord, To Thee we bring our common need; The loving heart, the helpful word, The tender thought, the kindly deed. We work together in Thy sight, We live together in Thy love; Guide Thou our faltering steps aright, And lift our thought to Heaven above. Hold Thou each hand to keep it just, Touch Thou our lips and make them pure, If Thou art with us, Lord, we must Be faithful friends and comrades sure. We change, but Thou art still the same, The same good Master, Teacher, Friend; We change; but Lord, we bear Thy Name, To journey with it to the end.

There is no one else on this planet like YOU. I want YOU to find that one thing that you are excellent at, doesn’t matter what, and be the best at it, own it! To my beautiful girls, you are QUEENS; make sure YOU are always treated like a queen. Every. Single. Time. YOU are the mothers of our future. To my handsome boys, you are KINGS; we are depending on you to lead us. YOU alone are in charge of who YOU become. We’ve made some great memories together but now, your future awaits.
