GRADUATION PROGRAMME 2017

BELMONT GOVERNMENT PRIMARY

Principal’s Message My dear pupils of the class of 2017, at this time in your life you are excited about secondary school and all that it holds for you. We celebrate your movement to the ‘Next Level’ and pray that God’s favour and blessings be with you throughout your journey there. This time spent at the ‘Next Level’ affords you another opportunity to work for the profession you desire. Some of you are not sure of what you want to be, but work you must. The effort that you put in equates to your reward at the end. Liken your stay to that of an athlete in training. Use your time for practice and work outs till the day of the race (your final exam). You have five to seven (5-7) years. I urge you to stay focussed on the job at hand. Your mind is powerful and so I charge you to build it with:

Mrs. Marjorie Brumant Principal Whatsoever things are true, Whatsoever things are honest, Whatsoever things are just, Whatsoever things are pure, Whatsoever things are lovely Whatsoever things are of good report, If there be any virtue, if it is worthy of praise, Think and spend time on these things. Your future lies in your hands. Make wise choices and always let God be your guide.

TEACHER’S PARTING WORDS: My dear students, I want you to always remember. “Life is Choices” make the right one and life would be good. Please remember the following: Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. Steve Jobs

Going on End of Term field trips will always be a memorable experience. I especially enjoyed my visit to Fun Station, Gulf City Mall, with Ms. Mc Queen and Ms. Quow. SHAKEEM PIERRE Two famous soca stars visited our school at Carnival time: Lyrikal and Aaron Duncan. Everyone was excited. We got to sing and jump to sweet soca music. Some children also got their autographs.

Monumental Memories: KEONE JOHN

One of my memorable moments was representing my school at the Port-of -Spain and Environs Zonal Games. My classmates came to support me at the Hasley Crawford Stadium. I won a gold medal in the 200m race and went on the represent Port-ofSpain and the National Primary School Sports.

NICOLEYAH THOMAS

In Standard Four, both classes visited the WASA, St. Joseph Education Centre. Although the rain fell that morning, the visit was very interesting, some of my classmates even won prizes for answering quiz questions correctly. We ended our day at Trincity Mall where we ate lunch and explored the mall.
