Welcome

Each year, we strive to raise the bar, and this offering represents our most progressive set yet. With a strong foundation of proven cow families and carefully selected sires, these cattle carry the traits we value most: maternal strength, structural quality, and breed character. We believe they have the potential to move any program forward. Our philosophy has always been simple: produce cattle that work. From the pasture to the show ring, these cattle are designed to generate returns—whether through maternal efficiency, longevity, or the kind of style that turns heads. We invite you to study this lineup and invest in cattle that will be productive, profitable, and dependable for your operation. We look forward to seeing the success they will bring you.

Not your everyday shorthorn here to start off our 2025 bred for banners sale. 75N is an outlier in how muscular and stout featured she is, but is also striking in her look and flexible in motion. There are now daughters in production out of both 3J and 36G, and the way they are excelling makes us all in on the “Perfect” cow family. Her maternal brother Yeti won Reserve Champion Shorthorn Bull and made the top 5 in the Legends All Breeds Bull Calf Jackpot last year at Farmfair, and bred many cows to him this spring as well. We’ve been meaning to picture mom but promise she is easy on the eyes and invite you to come check her out! She has already been shown at the Olds Fall Classic and was the Reserve Champion Shorthorn Female. There is tremendous show ring and donor cow potential in lot 1.

MATERNAL SIB OF LOT 1

Cinch x Hot Commodity. Shadybrook Perfect 36G ET has been a blessing to our program the last five years. We have flushed her several times and every calf crop she’s had has been stamped with quality and consistency. 86N ET ranks among the best of them. I love her silhouette and skeletal quality. The full sib from last year’s sale was awarded Reserve Yearling Heifer at the Alberta Junior Shorthorn Show in July shown by the Baehr family.

Entered at Farmfair.

BRED FOR BANNERS

Maternal sibling to 2. This is an exciting female here! She is very nicely put together and balanced with lots of femininity, but also has plenty of belly and shape throughout. She has already been shown at the Olds Fall Classic and was the Champion Junior Heifer Calf.

Entered at Farmfair.

Selling 1/2 interest after her show career.

MATERNAL SIB OF LOT 2 &3

Extremely functional and correct female up next. 89N is a smooth made heifer that is refined, dead level in her lines, and awesome footed. She has really turned it on lately and looks to be the kind that will get better with time and and last the long haul. I think she could look awesome on the halter next summer and fall!

MATERNAL SIB

This Tribute x Marilyn 88K daughter has been a rockstar since day 1. Wide and square at the ground, with so much substance and dimension from there up leaving you with a powerful view from behind. She has awesome hair and a great personality as well! Her dam won Farmfair in 2022 as the calf at side, her division as a bred in 2023, and looks stellar as a donor out on grass. There is a lot of mating versatility and breeding value in this female.

Entered at Farmfair and Canadian Western Agribition.

Another Marilyn!!! This strawberry roan heifer reads so maternal to me. She is awesome bodied, bold made and easy fleshing which should help her thrive in production. Maternal sisters the last two years have sold for $12,500 and $8500, and 80N could be the best yet.

Entered at Farmfair.

SIX S CHERRY TB 92N

Cherry the sweetheart. This big time heifer would be perfect for a younger/less experienced showman, but has the show ring pieces and functionality for a senior showperson looking to be super competitive, then have a foundation female afterwards. Her maternal sister went undefeated in her division the fall of 2022 and gained lots of popularity, selling for $13,000.

MATERNAL SIB OF LOT 7

This one should be a generator after her show career! A promising heifer prospect that is extra big ribbed and punchy hipped with a killer haircoat/color to top off her attractive presence. Her hot commodity dam is 9 years old and hasn’t missed yet, and shows no signs of slowing down.

SIRE

Dad and I were fortunate to purchase this set of embryos from Meyer Family Shorthorns and we are very happy with our investment. A maternal sib won multiple shorthorn plus shows this last year including at KC, NAILE, and Ft. Worth, another won Shorthorn Junior Nationals this summer, as well as a full sib recently sold for $59,500 is Meyers fall sale. 91N’s ceiling looks high, her combination of power and structural correctness is top tier.

Selling 1/2 interest after show career.
