This year we have consigned two solid red daughters right out of the replacement pen! They are both daughters of our homegrown herd bull, Silverline Just Right 6J. Just Right has consistently sired big bodied, quiet offspring that have great bone and foot structure. Their dams are red cows that consistently raise good ones. These ladies have been confirmed in calf by our vet for March calving. They have been pasture bred to Cactus Flat Marshall 3M. These are Shorthorn females that will work in both commercial or purebred operations. We welcome you to come and take a look at these girls! Royalla was originally part of the Marellan herd which was started in 1971 by the Allan Job and sons Lester and Neilson and families. Neilson and Sue Job registered the Royalla prefix in 1988. The Marellan herd was split in 2009 with Lincoln and Lisa Job retaining theMarellan prefix and Neilson, Sue and Nicholas retaining Royalla in the split. The herds were based on a commercial herd of shorthorns with a strong Weebollabolla base. Fertility, calving ease and fattening ability on grass are the most economically important traits and are concentrated on along with meat quality. Great success has been achieved over the years including Interbreed awards at Sydney Royal, Melbourne Royal and in 2021 the Supreme Interbreed Champion at Rock Hampton Beef 21, the largest show in the Southern Hemisphere. Royalla have also won the Shorthorn Champion of the World twice, with Royalla Isobel H135, and Royalla Merendee P161. The matriarch-in-the-making, 4G, does it again. You just can’t go wrong breeding to this cow. 9N is a powerhouse of a heifer, tipping the scales at a cool 646 lbs at 205 days. Roan, round, and ready to rock. Her sire, JT Impact 32L, was sadly lost this spring before turnout, making 9N the only calf of his to ever sell. With a pedigree more full than Tom Selleck’s mustache — featuring Foreman, Coal Pit Creek Leader (twice), Stockman, and Ramrod — she’s an easy buy for any operation.

Theodore was purchased in 2000 for the price of $36000 by Royalla and Marellan Shorthorns as a two year old. He was a stand out for his structural correctness and ease of doing. He was joined to 100 cows per year, with huge success. His first group of sons sold to average $15000. Over 150 sons have been sold to average $8000 and a top of $38000. Despite all the success with his sons, the biggest legacy is by far his daughters. The Theodore cows were the mainstay of both the Marellan and Royalla herds for many years. He is still used in both herds to this day, with virtually every animal in both herds going back to him, some many times. According to breeders in MN Theodore calves have tremendous vigour and are up and going very quickly. In Australia no progeny have been assisted. His daughters are very good calvers also. In order to get the most from Theodore in Canada it is recommended to use him on moderate framed cows. Canadian Semen stored at Alta Genetics. Reference pictures bred and owned by Lingley Livestock

• Cattle will be fed, free of charge until November 1st, 2025. Cattle remaining in the yard will require insurance at the cost of the buyer. Seller assumes no risk for animal after October 20, 2025. After November 1st, 2025 the buyer will be charged a yardage fee. • Assistance with delivery for all cattle sold in Canada or United States will be provided. All health requirements/testing to be determined between the buyer and seller. • Myostatin/defect positive animals(with current testing) are identified in the catalog or on the CSA Digital Beef platform. • Money exchange will be in CAD. Exchange rate will be announced on sale date via AMS Online Sales. • Animals will remain on farm until full payment is received by the seller from the buyer unless alternate payment conditions have been made between the seller and the buyer. Payment will be accepted via e-transfer, or wire transfer. • Sold under the Terms and Conditions of the Canadian Shorthorn Association.
