JOY 151J

SHAROM FIREDRAKE 64F

SHAROM DEBORAH 89D

Every year we dig deep into our replacement heifer herd to bring the strongest consignments we can to the 4’s Company Sale. This powerful red heifer has brood cow stamped all over her. Deep bodied with ample rib shape and defined muscle expression, she is a great choice for a herd builder. Her granddam, Sharom Deborah 89D, has been a constant produce in the Sharom herd. Her dam, being a first calf heifer, did a fantastic job raising this one. Sharom Highjacker 27H, her sire, was used for 2 years on heifers with minimal calving difficulty. Once he outgrew the young ladies, we moved him into pastures with 2nd and 3rd calvers. Sharom Lulu 204L is a female that would enhance any progressive herd. Pen exposed to Arbutus Elkhorn 23L from April 14, 2024 to June 2, 2024. Pasture exposed to ST King 5K from June 3, 2024 to July 15, 2024. Pregnancy checked on September 9, 2024 safe in calf for late February/early March.

Sharom Lavender 209L

This is the first year that we have on offer a daughter from Glenford Mr. Crimson 51H. Like all his progeny, this heifer is stout and well built. Her dam, Sharom Agnes 236A, has been a mainstay on our farm for many years. We have retained several of her daughters in our own herd with exceptional results in both bulls and females. As her dam is raising Sharom Lavender’s full sister this year, we decided to share these genetics with the Shorthorn community. This is a female we are proud to consign to the longest running Shorthorn production sale in Canada. AI’d to Matlock RJ LSR 59Z on April 22, 2024. Pasture exposed to ST King 5K from May 1, 2024 to July 15, 2024. Pregnancy checked on September 9, 2024 safe in calf for late February/early March.

Sharom Shorthorns were volume buyers at the Eionmor Stock Farm herd dispersal in 2013 where we purchased this heifer’s great granddam, Eionmor Smash Hit 36T. Those cow lines left their mark with thick made heifers that have great stayability. Add in a smattering of Saskvalley Yesterday and you have a recipe for a great young cow. This heifer will add value to your bottom line with growthy calves every fall. Take a good long look at her on sale day, you won’t be disappointed. AI’d to Matlock RJ LSR 59Z on April 22, 2024. Pasture exposed to ST King 5K from May 1, 2024 to July 15, 2024. Pregnancy checked on September 9, 2024 safe in calf for late February/early March.

SHAROM CRAFTSMAN

SHAROM HARRISON 36H

This heifer’s heritage goes back to this very sale. Her great great granddam, Paintearth Fairyland 38P, started this cow family. A very productive line in our herd that has left matrons and young herdsires that have gone on to commercial homes. She ranks in the top 25% for weaning weights, top 15% for yearling weights and has stayability that is hard to beat. A stand out in the pen and an eye catcher on pasture, this heifer has great hip and bone structure with a thick barrel. These attributes all add up to a great brood cow in the making. Pen exposed to Arbutus Elkhorn 23L from April 14, 2024 to June 2, 2024. Pasture exposed to ST King 5K from June 3, 2024 to July 15, 2024. Pregnancy checked on September 9, 2024 safe in calf for early February.

Sharom Sugar Love 223L 5 LOT

SHAROM HARRISON 36H

Tried, tested and true. A bloodline that has been in our herd for 16 years and going strong. The original Sugar cow came to us from the Hill Country Classic Sale from the good Matlock herd in Saskatchewan. Constant producers of both females and bulls. Sharom Sugar Love 223L will carry on the tradition left by her ancestors. Another heifer that ranks in the top percentiles for yearling and weaning weights, stayability and carcass traits. Her breeding to ST King 5K should provide a good return on your investment. Pasture exposed to ST King 5K from April 14, 2024 to July 15, 2024. Pregnancy checked on September 9, 2024 safe in calf for February.

Sharom Sweet Lorraine 233L 6 LOT

This is the youngest of our bred heifers in the sale. Just like our other sale consignments, she has proven blood lines in her extended pedigree. Her growth and development have been on par with her peers even with her young age. Sweet Lorraine will put pounds on her calves come fall which adds dollars to your bottom line. Her dam, Sharom Sweet Francine 66F, is another female in our herd who has a calf every year that stands out in the pen. All of our sale lots are heifers that we would happily calve out at home, but need to bring the best to town. Please take a good look at this young lady.

Pen exposed to Arbutus Elkhorn 23L from April 14, 2024 to June 2, 2024. Pasture exposed to ST King 5K from June 3, 2024 to July 15, 2024. Pregnancy checked on September 9, 2024 safe in calf for February.

Sharom Harrison 36H

Sire of 4 of our sale lots. Sharom Harrison 36H is a home-grown bull that is exceeding our expectations. Massive muscling and length of spine with above average scrotal circumference. An added bonus, he has tested as homozygous polled. To this day, not a single calf has come horned from him. We are always excited to see his calves grow and develop.

Sire to lots 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Lots of future in this red April born female! Six S Cherry 59M is a deep bodied heifer that has a beautiful head shape and balances up with a real nice look. The guess work is done here!

Six S Yeti 45M

The term elite is often overused, but this standout sire prospect is just that, and quite possibly offers as much breeding value as anything we have raised before! Yeti is an absolute powerhouse with an outlier look! He is high and long necked, huge backed and hipped, with rugged feet and legs underneath him. The way he stood out this spring, we knew his mom needed to hit the donor pen and are excited to see the impact she leaves in the coming years. His hard to replicate genetic profile speaks for itself, in the top 20% in 14 different traits. Campaign him next fall as a show bull, or just turn him out and let him be a cow changer he won’t disappoint!

These Sindy females rarely leave the farm, so here’s an opportunity that we think will do great things for you. 22L is as quiet as they come, straight topped and has a great foot and leg on her.

Here is Troy’s consignment, and a dandy she is. Troy campaigned this heifer this past summer and she did very well for him. Lacey is going to be a big heifer, yet she doesn’t give up any depth of body or rib shape. We’ve admired this heifer since she was a calf and we know how good of a producing cow her momma was, and are sure Lacey is going to be following in those footsteps. She’s bred to Diamond Creek Sterling 30K and Troy is probably just as excited about this calf as you will be.
