s ' r o t i d E ter t e l Welcome to this very special edition of London Runway - the 2022 Anthology.

Our regular readers will know that in the past, we've put out anthologies which contain all of our editorials from the year past. These hefty tomes are fantastic coffee table books that stand the test of time (our 2019 and 2020 editions are still available on our site).

However, they are also very heavy to carry around and pretty expensive to print, so this year, we're trying something new.

What you currently hold in your hands is a collection of 124 pages of only the very best that the pages of London Runway had to offer in 2022. We looked through all of our editorials from the year gone and narrowed down our selection, finding our very favourite submissions and in-house work. We even whittled down the pages within each editorial to make sure that we present you here with the very best of the best.

There's such a range of diversity here and it's incredible to see it collected in one volume. All of these editorials

represent one or more of our core values: sustainability and designers who respect the earth; equality and the chance for anyone from around the world to see their work in our pages, with their credit shown for everyone to see; and diversity, with people from all walks of life, all shapes and sizes, all colours and creeds, and all ages.

As a special edition, we're also thrilled to share a specially upgraded print version which makes this anthology feel even more shiny and exciting. High praise and kudos must be given to our team here behind the scenes, who work so hard to get every single issue out each month. Their work in graphic design has been reproduced here, mostly as it was in the original edition but with a few tweaks here and there to respect the new format. Our lovely Senior Graphic Designer, Alex Panek, stepped down in 2022 after a long

period of serving with us and she was succeeded by another long-standing team member, Lauren Rowley.

Together with Diana Li, Karishma Alreja, Barbara Mascarenhas, Louis Cleary, and Bruno Jorge, they have a strong hand in everything you see here.

Our most recent junior designers are Ellie Moseley, Holly Bulbrook, and Janaki Pillai.

We have an incredible team of writers whose work is not represented in this anthology, so if you would like to read their insightful and thoughtful articles, make sure to pick up one of our twelve monthly issues from 2022.

Our staff photographers, who largely cover events and runways throughout the year, are also represented here by MJ Mitra's fabulous work as well as some shots of my own. These were taken in support of the London Runway Virtual Festival at a live shoot, and the Face of London Runway 2022, showcasing our two winners.

Finally, props to our publishing team, who as always have put so much work into making this magazine happen.
