Zog © 2018 Orange Eyes Ltd. ‘The Breathing Song’ is taken from A Treasury of Songs by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler (Macmillan Children’s Books 2016). ‘The Flying Doctors’ song features in the Zog book and CD edition (Alison Green Books, an imprint of Scholastic).

‘Zog, the biggest dragon, was the keenest one by far. He tried his hardest every day to win a golden star.’ … But it’s quite hard to win a golden star when breathing fire makes your wing catch alight, roaring gives you a sore throat, and the princess you’re supposed to capture is actually your friend. Such is the life of Zog, our eager but accident-prone young dragon, from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s much-loved book. Today we bring Zog’s world to life through animation on the big screen, and the music of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Along the way, we will meet other mischievous creatures, will find out about the instruments of the orchestra, and we might even win some golden stars! Don’t forget to join in with our songs in your most magnificent dragon voices – the words will appear on the screen.
