A ballot process every five years and our Board of ten voluntary representatives from the business community ensures that your priorities and objectives are at the heart of what we do.

Additional Police Officers

We fund additional, dedicated officers from the Metropolitan and British Transport Police (PCs Nick and Lee respectively) who focus on crime within the BID area affecting our businesses. Typical work involves local foot patrols, investigations, operations and delivering crime prevention training to staff. They do not replace a call to 999 in an emergency but they are there to help you with policing matters, just ask us for their contact details and we can put you in touch.

Security Alerts

Our mass messaging system provides email, SMS and in-app alerts to our businesses for allresilience, civil emergency and security matters such as crime prevention, major transport disruption, marches/protests, building evacuations and terror attacks. The associated ‘TLB Alerts’ app is free and allows you to receive messages and access a library of useful documents on business continuity, incident management and terrorism preparedness. To receive alerts please register here.

Property Marking Kits

To help reduce bicycle theft, we run regular BikeRegister marking sessions across London Bridge, usually near public bike-racks. These are FREE (usual cost £29.99) and just keep an eye on our events listing or sign up to our Security Alerts to find out where and when. We can also arrange a session at your workplace on request.

In partnership with the Metropolitan Police, we host frequent seminars throughout the year and are open to all employees in London Bridge, not just security staff. The aim of the seminar is to enable the public to help the police deter and detect terrorist activity.
