This was made possible by a ‘Safety Valve Agreement’ with the Department for Education (DfE), following the development of an ambitious programme of innovative proposals to improve our local offer for Bexley young people with SEND.

These exciting proposals, recently agreed by the Secretary of State for Education, will enable us to - l expand our existing special school provision l Increase access to local SEN special school places l provide additional resources for early intervention l enhance support for primary and secondary settings l provide more opportunities for supported internships.
