"We have recently exchanged on our property after a rollercoaster couple of months. It's never easy buying and selling houses and getting all the timings right, however, I have to say a big thanks to Shannon Marsh and Katie Ridley who assisted us all the way through it.
"We recently purchased a house in Stafford via John Shepherd estate agents I have to say that the way they dealt with us was exceptional. From the very start, they kept us informed of how the sale was progressing. All queries and questions from the sellers were passed back to us promptly. Specifically, Mia Cornwall was excellent in dealing with the whole sale from start to finish "

With a wealth of information and data available to analysists spanning over the eventful past four years, we can now see that the number of home-sellers accepting offers from buyers has returned to the same level as we saw before in 2019.

Following the turbulent second half of 2022 and the flurry of uncertainty in the financial markets which led to active homebuyers deciding to put their moving plans on hold, now analysists can see that the number of homes marked ‘sale agreed’ has returned to pre-pandemic levels This has been fueled by demand for homes which has reached its highest level since October 2022 and the number of properties marked ‘sale agreed’ being 11% higher than spring 2019.
First time buyers are also able to see more stability as mortgage rates are set to remain at around 4% for most of 2023 - and could move lower towards the end of the year. Together with the continued increase in rental inflation, more first time buyers are making the transition from renters to owners.
From a seller's perspective, if you’ve been questioning whether now is the right time to have your home valued, the good news is – it is! Buyers and sellers are continuing to agree deals and there’s little evidence to suggest house prices and transaction volumes are going to change.
