Trending Shoes

As the seasons change, so do styles and trends for clothing. But because of Loma Linda Academy’s uniform policy, the amount of different styles you can wear at school is limited. However, there is one article of clothing that isn’t heavily affected by this policy: shoes. This guide will help anyone that is trying to get some brand new “kicks” as well as stay in style.
There are many uses for shoes other than style, of course, particularly in athletic endeavors. One of the shoes that has been flying off the shelves of every store are Air Force 1’s by Nike. They come
in colors including but not limited to: black, white, red, blue, camo, and multicolored options are included as well. Nike Air Force 1’s have a thick bottom sole and come in NBA high, or NBA low sizes. Russel Parker (9) who wears these shoes almost every day, says that these shoes are extremely comfortable and great for athletics. He recommends these shoes to just about anyone. The price of these shoes ranges from $45 to $200 depending on which style and size you choose, as well as where you buy the shoes from.
Another shoe that is popular right now are Converse’s Chuck Taylor All-Star high and low tops. These shoes are popular for their afford ability, style and wide range of designs. For instance: glitter, Hot Rod prints, camouflage prints or many other styles.
Shantelle Monsegue (10) has a pair of Chuck Taylor’s that she has had for about a year now. She says that these shoes are comfy and that they cost her around $70. She recommends these shoes to anyone who is looking for an affordable shoe. These shoes can be purchased on the Converse website from $35 to $85 depending on the size and design you choose.
If you are not looking for shoes that serve an athletic purpose, but you still want plenty of flair, consider purchasing a pair of Crocs. Crocs, Inc. is a shoe manufacturing company that mainly makes clogs and sandals, all held together by Crocs’ signature “Crocband.” Crocs were popular in the early 2000s but started to decline in popularity over the years. However, recently crocs have started to once again rise in popularity. Crocs on the website generally range from $49.99 to $74.99 and are available in men and women’s sizes. in the 7th grade, and has been collecting since. He still wears all of his sneakers, as long as they still fit him. “I feel like sneakers make your whole outfit” said Amoateng. “If you have, like, some bright shoes on with a dark outfit then it really catches someones eye.”
So, look out for these hot styles, on your friends’ feet for, these are some of the trendiest shoes out there.
Some of the most common shoes on campus are Adidas. There are many options for both men and women as well. Arianna Williams (9) often wears these shoes or some other form of sandal or clog. She says that they are comfortable and that she would recommend them to just about anyone. Adidas also makes caps and soccer balls so if you want to really customize your look, Adidas is a great option for that as well.
