2020 Graduation Weekend

Due to Coronavirus all services were held online, except for a Sunday morning drive through commencement. Class night was cancelled except for the memory video and baby senior video, also streamed online.

Seniors did receive their diploma in person at a drive through commencement with their families, one car per senior. Events can be viewed at: lla.org/graduation-2020

Freshie Book’s New Name

The Freshie Book was created by Laura Ballou, Tori Hiatt, Kristen Kim, Edel Pnadjaitan, & Judy Xu in College English in 2014. It is a resource for new LLA students from current students’ perspectives. It updated & designed by the Mirror staff. Its new name is: Crash Course to LLA.

I remember meeting you in seventh grade through Dr. Carter and I immediately thought that you were super nice. You asked me questions and made me feel welcome into the group. When I was in 8th grade, I got into orchestra and you were so nice to me.

This is when I started to get to know you. I will never forget the memories we’ve had in orchestra. From rehearsals spent silently laughing at the strings or whatever dumb thing Alex was doing, it was great. On tour,

5 you were always so fun to hang out with and I can’t thank you enough. This year, you’ve become like my third parent and I’ll miss that. You helped me get introduced to Campus Ministries and FND and were there for me when I needed to rant. I feel like I have gotten to know you over these years and High School won’t be the same for me without you. I’ll miss you more than you know. I just want to thank you for all the after orchestra boba trips and stupid shenanigans. Don’t forget me dude and you better come visit me once in a while.
