´´Every new beginning comes from other beginning´s end´´ I´m glad and excited to be back to the department that taught me so much and back with the family we formed as a Finance Team. Moving out to a different department a year ago was a challenge, but I´m grateful for all the knowledge I gained and the people I´ve met, Coming back to the team I was once part of was the best news I´ve received recently. Not only do I get to work with the people I appreciate and care for, but also, I´m coming back to the Finance family. I can assure you that no team has a special bond like Finance does.

For those of you who don´t know me, my name is Bianka Gamez.

I´m a proud mom to a 3-year-old little girl, and on my free time (if any is left!) I enjoy watching serial killer documentaries and going out for walks in the afternoon. I´ve been with the company for almost 3 years now, started out with Billing, then Collections, moved out to TCM and now I´m back as the Customer Payment Support Supervisor for the Collections Team.

Looking forward to meeting all the new members of this department and catching up with the ones I had the chance to meet and work with before.

MARIMBA DAY “To talk about the brown keys of the marimba, full of magic and harmony, is to delve into the depths of feelings, it is to touch the fibers of identity through the charm and nostalgia that its notes awaken”

On February 20 we commemorate Marimba Day. The marimba is an idiophone musical instrument, made of cedar, oak and cypress wood. This is considered the National Symbol of Guatemala.

On this day in Guatemala, many marimba groups and educational establishments celebrate with different activities, such as concerts and civic acts throughout the country.

Sofi likes piña coladas. She says she doesn't have a preference between salty or sweet but she actually likes a lot of sweet things.

She can make a fabulous 3 leches and her favorite cake is the torta chilena. You have to measure how much sugar you give her though, because she will give you a stand up comedy if you don't. Her favorite band is Kings of Leon and her favorite TV show is Dr House.

A vibe check pass if you ask me.

Sofi didn't use to like hugs until she met the love of her life, her husband. They both have a puppy named maggie and is Sofi's best friend.

SOFI DIAZ JUANMI CASTAÑEDA

Juanmi is happily married and has a 1 year old daughther named Ainhoa. He loves being with his family spending quality time watching movies or series. On a personal level, Juanmi enjoys to chill with friends rather than going out to party. I think many of us can relate to that. For all of us who have a beard, Juanmi has his own brand of beard products named ¨Paco Barbas¨ you can find them on instagram as @paco_barbas_gt

Sharon has been working in the company for 4 years now. She likes to read love stories. She is also passionate about crime stories and suspense movies. It's really hard to pick a favorite type of food and sometimes the little things like French fries, chocolate or coffee are the right answer. And those are Sharon's top picks. She actually can´t start her day with a little cappuccino on her system. She also had never cooked in her life but now she's a masterchef.

So if you need some cooking tips you can always reach her. You can actually reach to her anytime. She is really the GoTo person and will always see how she can help you.

SHARON ECHEVERRIA JUANJO ESTRADA

Juanjo is 35 years old and is happily married and has 2 kids. He is a really social person and if you want to win a friend you can always count on him. Specially if you like Porsche and/or sneakers which are his favorite things.

He likes soccer and loves to have ¨chamuscas¨... but he is really bad at it lol (his words not mine). And like many of us, he is really a distracted person. If you see him out there, don't get mad if he didn't say hello to you. He just lives in his own world. Even worse when everybody is using a mask!! So please bear with him and take the initiative to say hello and have a little chat. He will be happy to have one with you.
