We Say Goodbye To Our Fri~nd

Homecoming 1989 will always stand out in our memories, as we lost one of Logan's dearest friends. Dr. Arthur Nickson, whom so many of us knew as "Uncle Art" left us on the night of the Awards Banquet which would have honored his classes celebration of 50 years in the profession. It left us all feeling reflective and sombre, and somehow, Homecoming will never be the same without him. Tuesdays were the days when the Nicksons were on campus. So many times Uncle Art would visit the third floor, and probably stopped at every office to deliver his packets of "sense and nonsense," tell a few bad jokes, tell a few off-color jokes, drop off photos he so lovingly took at all occasions, and in (continued on page 2)
