Stay tuned! LOGAN’S SENIOR ADMINISTRATORS TO SERVE “LUNCH ON US,” JULY 27 There is such a thing as a free lunch…at least, once a year on the Logan campus. The Fifth Annual “Lunch on Us” event will be held on Tuesday, July 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Logan cafeteria. All faculty, staff and students are invited to enjoy a free lunch on the college. The menu includes: char-grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken breasts and veggie burgers, mostaccioli, Italian salad, Ted Drewes® frozen custard, iced tea, canned soda and bottled water. OTHER NEWS FROM IN AND AROUND THE CAMPUS The Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) will host a guest speaker at 11 a.m. Monday July 11 in room 142 A. Logan’s Dr. Martha Kaeser will present a lecture on "Cardiovascular Disease in Women" which will include a presentation as well as an ultra-sonographic vascular demonstration. Dr. Jay Elliott reports that NCMIC is scheduled to be on campus on July 12 to present its annual “Starting into Practice” seminar to the trimester 7, 8 and 9 students. The speakers will Ms. Ginger Marcinkowski and Dr. Braxton Pulley. The seminar will be in the Purser Center from 8-11:30 a.m. The Logan College Student Doctors’ Council (SDC) will be sponsoring a movie night on Tuesday, July 12. This event was made possible by Logan alumnus Dr. Loomis, DC, FIACA. The movie being shown is "Source Code." There will be a catered meal beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Purser Center, followed by a show time of 8:30 p.m. (sundown) for the movie. The running time of the movie is 93 minutes.
