RURAL RUN TIME

HUNDREDS of people will be out connecting rural communities this Sunday for the Loddon’s first Run for Resilience. The run is promoting strength and wellbeing of farmers, rural towns and residents and is organised by Active

Farmers. The run will have participants from across the region. The more adventurous will tackle a 25km course starting in Inglewood at 8am while shorter 10km and 5km courses will traverse tracks along the

Loddon River at Bridgewater from 9.30am. With more than 300 already registered and runner cheer squads being assembled, Run for Resilience will be one of the region’s largest events in more than a year.

Claire Harrison, who is driving the new event, was joined at the weekend in training by Zoe Simons, Leila Pell and Tracey Webb. THE HEALTHY LINK - PAGE 11
