Gates could be left open and farm animals free to roam. “All the onus is on us and not the Government or the campers.” Two Loddon River sites are described as being 13km north of Bridgewater, one with parking in Wingfield Lane, and a third 7km south of town. Another site is south of Ser-

pentine on the BridgewaterSerpentine road. More sites are expected to be added. DEWLP says: “Crown water frontages are a public asset for Victorians’ recreational use and enjoyment. Crown water frontage licences do not provide an exclusive right or use by the licensee, and recreational use by the public is permitted.”
