// LAB: LOCUST ART BUILDERS

Now in its 13th year, the Locust Art Builders (LAB) program offers opportunities to the next generation of creatives from schools across the county to connect and collaborate with their peers to learn to build the world they imagine starting with collaboratively building an exhibition from scratch in a nationally-recognized alternative art space.

LAB: MFA

LAB: MFA invites artists currently enrolled in an MFA program in the U.S. to Miami for a 3-4 week residency to create and present new work. This year specifically LAB MFA has been reinvisioned to focus on art and social practice.

The program allows students selected via an open call process to experiment and develop new work that expands on ideas they have been developing in their MFA studies as a pivotal, career-building opportunity.

Supporting local, national and international artists with residencies and resources to produce and present ambitious and experimental exhibitions and offering the public access to artists, critics, and curators through programming.
