We’re looking for LAB Champions for 2025. Give today and support a community-oriented program that nurtures the next generation of creatives!
$10,000 for Travel Stipends
Makes the program accessible for students across Miami-Dade
$10,000 for Artist Fees
Pays Teaching Artists and Workshop Presenters
$5,500 for Daily Lunches
Provides lunch and snacks for up to 30 students for 20 days
$2,000 for Art Supplies
Provides students art supples, totes, and artist-designed shirts
$1,800 for Production Materials
Affords tools for installation and exhibition design
$1,500 for Interns
Pays three college-level interns

Locust Art Builders: Summer Art Intensive for Teens 2024-2025 is made possible through lead support from The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners, The Children’s Trust; Susan and Richard Arregui, Berkowitz Contemporary Foundation, The Kirk Foundation, Miami Salon Group, Cowles Charitable Trust, and the Friends of the Next Generation.
