Sitting alongside the prep school in our leafy 23-acres of grounds, Little Lockers welcomes boys from Reception (aged 4 to 5) through to Year 2 It provides a special bright, modern space full of life, imagination and laughter.

We are a purposefully small school and our small class sizes of 16 or fewer are a hallmark of a Lockers Park education This ensures every child receives a high level of attention from the outset and means every teacher knows each of our boys incredibly well. A full and happy childhood

For pre-prep boys it’s essential that they still have time to be children our boys are given time to let off steam, build dens and simply have fun with friends. As well as their own dedicated garden, the boys have the playground, fields and woodlands to explore The rich extra-curricular calendar also complements pupils’ more formal learning to help our boys build strong peer groups and gain in confidence.

We have designed Little Lockers specifically for boys in Reception to Year 2; the space, our approach and the activities are all designed to help your son be anything and achieve everything

The Little Lockers school day starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:45pm.

We offer excellent wraparound care provision running from 7:30am until 6:00pm, all included in the tuition fees at no extra cost This includes breakfast and supper each day and is often used by working parents.

Each child has one-to-one time with their teacher, for literacy and/or numeracy activities every day to help their development

Our pupils focus on academic topics such as maths and phonics, as well as a host of cocurricular lessons such as art, drama, nature & environment and DT.

Our children are taught by experienced, caring teachers, including specialist teachers in Art, Music, Sport and Drama who ensure all the boys get involved in our events, plays and concerts.

We take the classroom outdoors with weekly nature & environment lessons to teach children about the natural world around them, including the allotments, garden and woodlands.

Each boy enjoys PE lessons and swimming lessons each week, all year round

Our rich after-school activity programme includes science club and nature art & craft club
