Did you know that it takes 1,000 books to classify as a private library? Although that number is an informal consensus agreed upon by book lovers, I’m taking it as a personal goal to reach that in my own collection. My husband has even promised me that one day—most likely far in the
future—we will have a full library in our home. For now, I’m happy with my
381 books. (At least, that’s how many I have at the time of writing this. I’m
confident that number is probably closer to 400 now that we’re in August!)
Also hovering around that number is the number of books written by Thomas Kingsley Troupe. The Woodbury resident has penned over 400 children’s
books since 2008. Patrick’s Super Socks marked his first book release,
