Trinity Academy offers faith-based education to area families.
Starting a child out on the best educational foot possible is a priority for families, and the staff at Trinity Academy understands the importance of choosing the right academic environment for all children.
Trinity’s faith-based education, along with the Second Step curriculum in early childhood and primary classrooms, provides a solid foundation in developing students’ academic, emotional and social skills, which is imperative during the formative years. The school’s early childhood mission statement spotlights its guiding philosophy: Providing excellence in early childhood and developing a foundation of faith in the children we serve.
Trinity Early Childhood Academy serves more than 100 students at the East Campus, which offers quality care for children 6 weeks to 6 years old. The West Campus is home to the Trinity Academy, providing education for 300 children in 3-year-old preschool through eighth grade along with year-round childcare. “The ability for a family to have all their children under one educational umbrella provides children the opportunity to be in a school setting with a family feel as they develop relationships that reach beyond the classroom,” says Alison Johnson, Principal.
“We appreciate the strong faith and morals with academic prestige while understanding the importance of being kind, thoughtful, and showing concern for others. Trinity Academy and the early childhood program has great leadership and staff that works tirelessly, even during a pandemic, to have the students attend school safely in-person. The friendships that our kids, as well as us parents, have made are enhancing our lives daily,” says Mr. and Mrs. Farchione.
Academic success, regardless of students’ abilities, are a priority at Trinity. Additional assistance is available with a reading specialist, intervention opportunities with local public schools, tutoring and differentiation in the classroom. Strong student outcomes and building relationships with families are a priority at Trinity. “Our biggest strengths are the dedication of our high quality staff and the partnership we share with parents to ensure each child is set up for success,” says Amy Radke, Director of Childcare.
