The EIF was introduced in Sept 2019 by Ofsted, the government agency that inspects and skills for learners of all ages. Reports and judgements are published following inspection and therefore can heavily influence the reputation of colleges. The majority of their evidence has been gathered from talking to teachers about how curriculum has been developed and

and regulates services providing education the delivery sequenced and then by talking to students about their learning experiences.

The implementation of our quality processes will support our goal to become outstanding in all areas and attain the standards set out in the Education Inspection Framework.

The new framework can be accessed from the following link and it is worth familiarising yourself with the new measures of success https://www.gov.uk/government/publictions education-inspection-framework In a nutshell, whilst outcomes are still important, there is more focus on the holistic student experience leading to better progress and more positive destinations. Interestingly, since the new EIF, inspectors have being spending more time in classrooms and less time in meetings with managers.

What are we judged on ?

Safeguarding

Safeguarding will continue to be built around three core areas.

Identify: are leaders and other staff identifying the right learners and how do they do that?

Help: what timely action do staff within the provider take and how well do they work with other agencies?

Manage: how do responsible bodies and staff manage their statutory responsibilities and in particular, how do they respond to allegations about staff and other adults?

Safeguarding will hold the same significance across all remits
