Local student Liam Wrobel has qualified for HOYS
Culcheth High School student Liam Wrobel riding Greenholme
Jake his lovely fell pony. Won their HOYS ticket in the Working Pony Class in the SEIB Search for a Star on 1st August 2024 and will compete at HOYS NEC Arena in Birmingham on the 10th October 2024.They've been together for 16 months now . Liam has had a terrific journey with Jake and they have a great bond! Liam's done all the training with Jake and was overwhelmed by The judge’s Alan MickIeburgh and Terry Chalmers comments that “Jake is balanced, correct and steady over the jumps.” This is an open age class so remarkable for a slight 14 year old!
Later in the day they also won the Mountain and Moorland class qualifying them for Your Horse Live, judged by Louise Gaunt (shown below with Liam)

Katie at British Horseback Archery National Finals
Katie took part in the National Finals held at Longridge Show Field where she finished in 4th place in the Junior Section, 9th overall out of 20 competitors. Katie also heads off to France to compete in her first international competition. We hope to hear all about it and wish her the best of luck.
