Local Children Team up to
Ten local children representing Golborne Community Primary School will be participating in Cancer Research's "Pretty Muddy" race this June to raise money for Cancer Research. The children have already raised over £1000 in sponsorship and would be overjoyed if anybody in our local community would like to sponsor them further.
Any donations can be made by accessing their team page on https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/team-gcp and would be gratefully received.

“We have had 9 local businesses sponsor to help towards training kit , costumes / Poms etc. We have also held multiple events over the last 12 months to help raise money towards flights and accommodation for the team including a Curry event at The Raj where XFactors Nathan Grisdale sang & Super league rugby stars Joe Phiblin & Matty Davis did a live Q&A all free of charge to help raise money. The community have been fantastic in the run up to this trip and we hope as many people can get behind the girls from home as they travel to the states next week.
