February saw the first meeting of the New Year, all our ladies arrived in great form ready for activities and outings planned for 2023. Our talk this evening was by Peter Wild who gave a very informative insight into his role working with Young Carers within the Wigan and Leigh area. Peter welcomed the many questions asked by our members and we thank him for giving his time and spending the whole evening working his way around the tables to speak to individual people.
At our next meeting on the 6th April, Lisa Moore will be talking about her journey in Needle Felting. Lowton WI meet on the first Thursday of the month at 7.15pm in Lowton Social Club on Newton Road.
