Thursday 15th December 7pm: Epiphany Trust annual Carol Concert at Lowton IM Church, Newton Road WA3 1EE , Featuring Golborne Brass Band and the LGN Choir.

Saturday 17th December 10am 12.30pm : Messy Church at Heath Street Methodist Church, Golborne. Wednesday 21st December 7.30pm: Christmas Concert at Heath Street Methodist Church. Featuring the Wargrave Choir, the LGN Ukulele Band and Shade Black.

LOVE IN A BOX

The generosity of Golborne and Lowton school children was shown again this year when many schools in the area took part in the shoebox appeal for Operation Christmas Child. These boxes will bring love and joy to many children especially in Ukraine where most of the boxes are going.

A Big Thank You to everyone who took part. Have a very blessed and happy Christmas.

We have had a very successful year with some absolutely fantastic results for our dancers. We have also seen a few new girls coming along and seeing what it is all about. Are you curious? Please do not hesitate to come along and take a look at what we do. Our newest members will vouch for us that you will feel welcomed and your girls will be gaining new skills, exercise and a great social network of friends that becomes your second family.

We are open to any age of dancers from 2 years upwards and even have some older dancers in their 40's putting their pumps back on. Please do not hesitate to give us a try, you will not regret it!

LOWTON WI

Due to unforeseen circumstances our October meeting was delayed by two weeks, however on the 20th October we were able to go ahead with our AGM, after the reports were read, we voted for our President with a Independent adjudicator overseeing proceedings, I’m pleased to say that Val Barrow was again voted in for another 12 months, congratulations to Val on her success. Our secretary Carole Leigh has decided step down and Liz Bennett will now take over this role. Thank you to Carole for her hard work over the last year and congratulations to Liz as her successor. We also welcomed Lynne Patience onto the committee.

We are looking for more girls aged 11 to 16yrs to join our newly formed teams. We train on Mondays 6 7pm. The teams are also looking for sponsorships from companies for both team kits to replace the handed down mix match kit in the photo ready for next season (March 2023).
