At our November meeting our speaker was Stephen Freeborn, a retired pharmacist who spent his working life at the Royal Bolton Hospital and Salford Royal, his talk was titled “Keep taking the pills". Stephen told the very comical stories of how people interpret or rather misinterpret instructions on how to take their medication, he certainly had our ladies laughing and adding in their own stories of the old remedies. On a more serious note Stephen reminded us on the correct way to store our medications to avoid cross contamination. As November is bonfire season, our ladies rounded of the evening by enjoying a lovely slice of Parkin with their cuppa.
Its hard to believe where this year has gone as our next meeting is the Christmas Party and the last meeting of 2025.

Liam and his beautiful fell competed in their class like the little showmen they are! Dealing with the bright lights, hustle and bustle of a huge atmosphere , the team brought home a prestigious 4th Place!
