Self-care tips for the Sandwich Generation Caregivers

The sandwich generation refers to adults, usually in the age group of 40-59 years, who are taking care of both their young children as well as their aging parents.

Caregiving for multiple people can be extremely draining and research has shown that such adults lose at least half an hour of sleep at night and are at risk for chronic conditions.

It is crucial that caregivers take care of themselves – be it indulging in a hobby they enjoy, taking some time off, or availing professional help.
