Welcome to our Summer edition of Wokingham Local magazine, where there is definitely all the fun of Summer over at Holme Grange craft village, with both family fun and affordable luxury galore. I pop in to see the newest arrival in the village, Dan at Elemental Cards and we spend 5 minutes as he talks about his passion for all things Pokémon - it is a riveting read.

Talking of all things unique and bespoke, Pratts Pods have exciting custom-built gaming consoles to keep us all entertained during the holidays, why not pop in to see their tech specialists? No-one need be bored should the weather not hold up for the next few weeks!

It always makes me smile when we are out and about with the magazine and we are asked regularly ‘so, where have you all been and what have you been up to?’ Well, we have certainly been out and about recently - from the seaside here at home to Istanbul in Turkey, you can read all about our adventures throughout this issue. Yes, we really do visit all the places we feature in each and every issue.

We followed L and E Leadwork and Roofing services around the Borough (with delightful photographs produced of their most recent work) and we called in to see the lovely ladies at the Lazy Frog massage and spa on Denmark Street, where we are always greeted with a delightful Thai smile.

We also have some professional and financial advice from several of our prominent local business owners and entrepreneurs and we are always appreciative of the time and efforts they take to write for us in and among their hectic schedules and busy lives, and I am sure, you, our readers will find it very useful as always.

Well, until late August it just remains for me to wish you all a very pleasant Summer, have a great time and enjoy your Family Fun!
