Denise Fraser GUIDING
YOU TOWARD POSITIVE CHANGE
Hi, I’m Denise Fraser, and for nearly 30 years, I’ve been passionate about health, wellbeing, and the fascinating connection between mind and body. My journey began in teaching yoga and fitness, but personal experiences deepened my curiosity about the mind. Watching loved ones struggle with mental health, and navigating my own challenges after the unexpected loss of my husband, inspired me to explore how our thoughts and emotions influence our overall health. This led me to meditation and mindfulness, and ultimately to Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern, highly effective approach to managing stress, anxiety, and other challenges. Unlike traditional therapies that often focus on the past, I help my clients concentrate on the solutions they want and
the outcomes they wish to achieve. Each session is positive, empowering, and forward-looking – there’s no need to revisit painful memories. Instead, we work together to move from where you are now to the life you want, using the natural power of hypnosis to
create meaningful change in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
My professional training allows me to bring both expertise and compassion to every session. I earned my Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), widely regarded as the gold standard in hypnotherapy education, and I also hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma from the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH). These qualifications, combined with decades of experience teaching yoga, fitness, meditation, and mindfulness, mean I can support clients holistically, addressing both mental and physical wellbeing.
What I love most about my work is seeing the positive impact therapy can have on someone’s life. Each session is tailored to the individual, creating a safe, supportive space where meaningful change can happen naturally and sustainably. I work with you collaboratively – change happens because you want it, and I help guide the way.
I’m committed to professionalism and client safety. I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS check, and proudly maintain memberships with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH), the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). By adhering strictly to their Codes of Conduct, Performance, and Ethics, I ensure every client receives the highest standards of care and support.
For readers here in Cheshire’s Golden Triangle, my work offers more than therapy – it’s a pathway to clarity, confidence, and renewed wellbeing. Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, stress, or simply want to enhance your overall quality of life, I help you focus on what matters most, guiding you toward practical solutions and empowering you to embrace the positive changes you deserve.
With Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, you don’t just cope – you grow, thrive, and create the life you truly want. And I’m here to support you every step of the way.

5 Star Testimonial
“I had hypnotherapy with Denise for depression and total lack of motivation. I was in a rut and didn’t have any energy for anything. As the sessions went on I found myself doing more, it started with going out for daily walks, then I joined the gym and started to meal plan for the week ahead to ensure that I ate healthily. I feel more like my old self now, taking that time each week for hypnotherapy was well worth it, plus I thoroughly enjoyed my weekly sessions with Denise.”
HANDWRITING
A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Hello, I am Denise, I am an Occupational Therapist, working with children and young people for over 25 years. In this article we consider ‘Handwriting Development’ in children and young people.
Before a child starts handwriting, their readiness can be assessed by considering key factors including the hand’s physical preparedness and the ability to copy and interpret basic forms. Here are some examples of what to consider:
Key Fine Motor Skills for Handwriting:
● Hand Strength
● Reach, Grasp, and Release
● Hand Separation
● Finger Isolation
● Grip and Precision
We know that effective handwriting requires skilled control of the entire upper extremity, from shoulder to hand. Hand strength relies on the coordinated action of muscles connecting the shoulder girdle to the elbow, and the hand’s extrinsic and intrinsic muscles.
Pencil Grip evolves over the first 7 years and you will observe different pencil holds as your child’s grip develops.
Age Range: 1-1 1/2 years
Pencil Grip: Cylindrical Grasp
Alternative Names/Stages: Basic Palmer Grasp (12-18 months)
Age Range: 2-3 years
Pencil Grip: Digital Grasp
Alternative Names/Stages: Digital Finger Grasp (2-3 years); Emerging Tripod (2-4 years)
Age Range: 3 1/2-4 years
Pencil Grip: Static Tripod Grasp
Age Range: 4 1/2-7 years
Pencil Grip: Tripod Grasp
Alternative Names/Stages: Dynamic Tripod (4-6 years)
Here are some suggestions for developing pencil grip
● Adjusting the Writing Surface: Use a surface that is slightly angled.
● Aiding Left-Handers: Encourage left-handed writers to hold the pencil further up from the tip to ensure better visibility.
● Using Gripping Aids: Introduce shaped or moulded grips on the pencil.
● Changing Writing Tools: Offer shorter writing instruments – small pencils, crayons, or chalks.
● Cueing for Closeness: For children who grip the pencil too near the tip, placing an elastic band slightly above the tip can serve as a physical reminder.
An efficient tripod pencil grip is crucial for:
● Improving the speed and clarity of writing.
● Preventing discomfort and tiredness in the hand.
Getting Started with Writing: From Scribbles to Structured Letters
The journey to confident and legible handwriting is not instantaneous; it is a developmental process
Stage 1. Just Doodling (Random Scribbles)
The Exploration Phase: This initial stage is characterised by uncontrolled, energetic, and purely process-driven movements. The child holds the tool with a gross grasp (often a fist)and uses their entire arm and shoulder. The marks are random, often overlapping, and lack representational intent. The primary skill developing here is understanding the cause-andeffect relationship: “When I move the crayon, a mark appears.”
Stage 2. Straight Lines Down (Vertical Lines)
The First Controlled Stroke: The vertical line is typically the first controlled stroke to emerge. It requires the child to move the arm and hand in a single plane, demonstrating control in starting and stopping the movement. This stroke is crucial for forming the capital letters I, L, T, H, F, E, and is an early sign of wrist and elbow stabilization.
Stage 3. Lines Across (Horizontal Lines)
Crossing the Midline: Following the vertical line, the horizontal line demands coordinated movement across the body’s midline. Combining the vertical and horizontal movements is a significant cognitive and motor milestone. This skill is foundational for letters like T, H, F, E, Z, N, and many numbers.
Stage 4. Round Shapes (Circles and Ovals)
Curvature and Closure: The ability to draw a closed, curved shape marks a substantial leap in motor planning and continuous movement control. It requires the child to coordinate shoulder, elbow, and wrist movements to trace a circular path and meet the starting point. This stroke is absolutely vital for forming the entire family of “circle letters,” including O, C, Q, G, D, P, B, and the lower-case letters a, d, g, o, c, q, s, e, f.
Stage 5. Moving Beyond the Basics:
Once these core four strokes are mastered, the child typically progresses to more complex diagonal and intersecting lines (required for letters like A, V, W, X, Y, K, M, N, Z), and finally, to connecting these strokes to form recognizable shapes and, ultimately, letters and numbers. Consistent practice in these pre-writing skills ensures that when a child begins formal letter formation, their focus can remain on the shape and sequence of the letter, rather than struggling with the underlying motor control needed to make the mark itself.
rooted in what we call pre-writing skills. To achieve those aesthetically pleasing letters, we must acknowledge that all complex writing begins with simple, fundamental marks.
These basic marks are not merely random movements; they are the essential building blocks that form the muscular control, visual perception, and hand-eye coordination necessary for our new writers to succeed.
Without a strong foundation in these skills, children can quickly become frustrated by the demands of forming complex letters, which can hinder their enthusiasm for writing altogether.
How Mark-Making Develops: The Developmental Path of Pre-Writing Strokes
The development of mark-making follows a predictable, sequential pattern that reflects a child’s increasing maturity in fine motor control and cognitive understanding. Each stage is a prerequisite for the next, moving from pure exploration to controlled, intentional representation.
If you would like to consider a fine motor skills or handwriting assessment or occupational therapy support for your child, I am based at the Alderley Edge Counseling and Pyschotherapy Clinic every Saturday morning from 09.30 to 12.30.
FALL IN LOVE WITH THE JOURNEY
Valentine’s Day is a celebration of connection, shared moments and the joy of escaping the everyday together. Whether it’s a spontaneous city break, a carefully planned honeymoon or a once-ina-lifetime adventure, travel has a unique way of bringing couples closer. At Prestbury Travel, we believe the most memorable journeys are those designed with care, expertise and a genuine understanding of what makes a holiday truly special for two.
As your local independent travel specialists, we take pride in helping couples discover escapes that feel personal, effortless and unforgettable. From iconic destinations to hidden gems, our knowledge allows us to create holidays that go far beyond the ordinary catering for a wide range of tastes, travel styles and budgets.
For many couples, the magic begins in the heart of a beautiful city. There are few places
more evocative than Paris, where candlelit bistros, elegant boulevards and leisurely strolls along the Seine set the scene for an unforgettable break. A city escape offers the perfect balance of culture, cuisine and indulgence, whether you’re sipping champagne overlooking the Eiffel Tower, enjoying a private museum tour or discovering charming neighbourhood cafés hand in hand. Beyond Paris, cities such as Venice, Rome, Vienna and Barcelona offer their own distinctive character, combining history, art and atmosphere to create an ideal escape for two.
Of course, every couple travels differently, and for many, tranquillity and privacy are key. Prestbury Travel has access to an exceptional range of adultonly hotels and resorts across the world, designed specifically with couples in mind. These carefully selected properties offer a calm, refined ambience, outstanding dining, indulgent spas and experiences created for rest and reconnection. From Europe’s sun-kissed coastlines to far-flung destinations further afield, adult-only hotels provide the perfect setting to slow down and simply enjoy time together.
For those seeking the ultimate in luxury and seclusion, few places compare to the Maldives. One&Only Reethi Rah is a shining example of barefoot elegance, offering an exceptional privateisland escape that feels entirely removed from everyday life. Set on one of the largest islands in the Maldives, the resort features spacious beachfront and over-water villas, outstanding dining, personalised service and a wealth of
curated experiences designed for pure indulgence. Days can be spent enjoying sunset cruises across the lagoon, bespoke spa treatments, private beach dining or unwinding together amid turquoise waters and powder-soft sands.
To add an extra touch of celebration, Prestbury Travel is offering an exclusive reader incentive for all Cheshire Golden Triangle readers for a limited time only. Couples who book a holiday to One&Only Reethi Rah with Prestbury Travel before 28 February will receive six complimentary bottles of champagne per booking, a wonderful way to elevate an already unforgettable escape.

Cruising, for example, offers couples a wonderfully effortless way to explore the world together. Ocean cruises allow you to wake up in a new destination each day while enjoying elegant dining, luxurious accommodation and world-class entertainment onboard. River cruises offer a more intimate experience, gliding through Europe’s most picturesque waterways past vineyards, historic towns and storybook scenery. With everything taken care of, cruising allows couples to relax and savour the journey as much as the destination.
For those with a sense of curiosity and adventure, tailor-made holidays open the door to extraordinary shared experiences. From the vibrant cultures of Asia to the dramatic landscapes of Australasia, the iconic cities and national parks of the USA and beyond, these journeys are designed entirely around your interests, pace and budget. Imagine travelling through the breathtaking Canadian Rockies
aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, where panoramic views, exceptional service and gourmet cuisine transform the journey into an experience every bit as memorable as the destination itself. These are the once-in-a-lifetime moments couples treasure long after returning home.

LOVE ACROSS THE ISLES
THE UK’S MOST ROMANTIC VILLAGES & TOWNS
As Valentine’s Day approaches, there’s something undeniably appealing about escaping the everyday and retreating somewhere that feels quietly magical. The UK is rich in villages and towns where romance seems woven into the landscape, from honey-hued cottages and medieval streets to windswept coastlines and poetic lakes. For couples seeking inspiration this season, these destinations offer the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect and fall a little more in love.
Few places conjure fairy-tale romance quite like Castle Combe in Wiltshire. Often hailed as one of England’s prettiest villages, it is a place where time appears to have stood still. Stone cottages cluster along the Bybrook River, a graceful medieval bridge frames postcard-perfect views, and the gentle hush of the countryside encourages unhurried wandering. Early morning or dusk, when the village is quiet and bathed in soft light, feels especially intimate.
Elsewhere in the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-theWater offers a different but equally beguiling atmosphere. Known as the “Venice of the Cotswolds”, its low-arched stone bridges crossing the River Windrush invite leisurely strolls and lingering moments. Couples can sit by the water with coffee in hand, browse independent shops or explore the surrounding lanes, where rolling fields

stretch away into the distance. It’s romantic in the most effortless, English way.
For those drawn to the sea, Whitstable in Kent blends coastal charm with a relaxed, contemporary spirit. Long walks along the pebbled beach, the bracing sea air and the simple pleasure of sharing oysters and wine as the sun sets create a romance rooted in sensory experience. The town’s mix of weatherboard cottages, independent cafés and understated elegance makes it ideal for couples who prefer their Valentine’s escapes with a touch of modern flair.
Shere, tucked into the Surrey Hills, feels like a village lifted straight from a romantic film – and in fact, it often is. With its timber-framed cottages, duck pond and welcoming village pub, it embodies the kind of cosy charm that lends itself perfectly to winter walks and fireside lunches. Wandering its narrow lanes, it’s easy to feel as though you’ve stepped into a gentler, more romantic rhythm of life.
In the Lake District, Grasmere offers a deeply poetic form of romance. Once home to William Wordsworth, the village is surrounded by dramatic fells and anchored by its serene lake. Couples can follow the circular lakeside path, pausing to admire reflections in the water, before retreating to a snug pub or traditional tearoom. It’s a place that encourages quiet conversation and shared contemplation, making it particularly appealing for those who find romance in nature.
Rye in East Sussex delivers atmosphere in abundance. Its cobbled streets, medieval buildings and historic inns create a sense of stepping back in time. Mermaid Street, with its crooked houses and ancient paving stones, feels especially evocative at dusk. Inside candlelit pubs and restaurants, crackling fires and seasonal menus complete the picture. Rye’s romance lies in its layers of history and the sense of stories waiting to be discovered around every corner.
Down in Cornwall, St Ives offers a brighter, more spirited kind of romance. Its sweeping beaches, clear light and artistic heritage make it a place that engages all the senses. Couples can arrive by the scenic coastal train, explore galleries hand in hand,

then watch the sun dip into the Atlantic from a clifftop path. Evenings are best spent lingering over fresh seafood and local wine, with the sound of the sea never far away.
For something quieter, Hutton-le-Hole in the North York Moors offers a retreat into simplicity. This small village, with its green open spaces and surrounding moorland, feels wonderfully removed from modern distractions. Long walks across open countryside, followed by tea in a traditional café or supper in a country inn, provide the kind of understated romance that allows couples to truly switch off together.
Another Cornish gem, Polperro, is all narrow alleys, pastel cottages and a small working harbour. Its intimate scale makes it ideal for hand-inhand exploration, whether that’s wandering down to the water’s edge at sunset or heading out along the coastal path for dramatic sea views. There’s something deeply romantic about the way the village clings to the hillside, offering glimpses of the sea at every turn.
Across the border in Scotland, Crail in Fife adds a quietly elegant note to this romantic roundup. Its historic harbour, cobbled streets and fresh seafood create a sense of simple indulgence.
Watching fishing boats bob gently in the water or sharing lobster overlooking the sea feels effortlessly special, particularly as the light softens towards evening.
Together, these villages and towns reveal just how many forms romance can take. Whether found in poetry and landscape, sea air and sunsets, or flickering candlelight in centuries-old inns, each destination offers a reminder that some of the most meaningful moments are best enjoyed slowly, in beautiful places, with the one you love.

MEET SPENCE MACDONALD
THE VOICE THAT MAKES YOUR MORNING BRIGHTER
JP: You’ve had a long history on the airwaves, including your time at KEY 103. What drew you to Happy Radio, and how does this new chapter feel compared to your previous roles?
SM: With the consolidation of the radio industry in recent years with more local stations being bought out by a couple of big players, jobs in the industry
became few and far between. Added to this, groups like Bauer and Global decided local radio did not matter to them as far as the schedules were concerned and now 99% of output comes from London with no local presenters whatsoever. As I prepared to take a step back from radio, Darren Proctor and Max Eden decided to take a gamble on setting up a new local station for Manchester and Cheshire, Happy Radio. I was their first choice as Breakfast Presenter due to my local heritage and years of (occasionally) awardwinning radio and after hearing their plans I couldn’t refuse. I’m a firm believer in local radio and love the connection to the listeners it brings.
JP: Radio is all about keeping listeners entertained – how do you keep your shows fun, fresh, and full of surprises?
SM: I just have a conversation with the listener as I would a friend down the pub (minus the beer obviously). I like to think my observations on life, quite often local, are interesting anecdotes that listeners can relate to. I imagine I’m having a laugh Liam Adele
with them, talking about things we can all relate to and I make every effort to make sure every link has something that will make you smile. A good dose of Manchester humour seems to have taken me this far!
JP: Cheshire’s Golden Triangle has a close-knit community. How do you connect with listeners in the area, and what kind of local stories or voices excite you the most?
SM: I just love hearing from listeners in our area and the stuff they’re up to. I get out and about in Cheshire and Manchester as much as I can, seeing and doing things the listener may also be doing and letting
them know about events they may not have been aware of. I much prefer to hear from local, real-life people rather than any showbiz stars. They live in a completely different world to us and as such I think are disconnected to the rest of us. Who cares if Kim Kardashian has a new handbag dog?
JP: Looking ahead, what can fans expect from you on Happy Radio? Any exciting plans or projects you’re itching to share?
SM: We’re always keeping the breakfast show fresh on Happy Radio with a constantly updated playlist featuring songs from the 70s to present day chart stuff, so there’s that. I’ve also got plans for some new exciting features on the show to keep people in the morning entertained so keep an ear on the show. Plus, I start my new role as a hairdresser in Coronation Street on April 1st. It’s only a small role for a month but (check the date) it’s something I’m looking forward to immensely. I hope they don’t cut it!!

VALENTINE’S DECOR CREATING A WARM AND ROMANTIC AMBIENCE
Valentine’s Day presents the perfect opportunity to infuse your home with warmth, romance, and thoughtful touches that celebrate love in all its forms. Decorating for the occasion need not be extravagant or costly; with a few considered ideas, you can create a cosy, inviting space that exudes romance and charm. From subtle accents to more striking statements, here’s how to make your home feel utterly Valentine-ready.
1. Begin with a Colour Palette
Red and pink are synonymous with Valentine’s Day, but incorporating softer shades and complementary tones can lend a more sophisticated air. Consider blush, cream, gold, and even deep burgundy for a touch of drama. Choose a palette that resonates with your style – be it contemporary, classic, or country chic – and carry it throughout your décor. In a neutral-toned living room, for example, add red cushions, a pink vase, or golden candle holders to introduce colour without overwhelming the space.
2. Embrace Candles and Lighting
Lighting is central to creating a romantic atmosphere. Soft, warm light fosters intimacy, making it ideal for Valentine’s Day. Candles are essential – they can be placed on dining tables, coffee tables, or mantels. Scented candles, such as rose, vanilla, or sandalwood, add both fragrance and ambience. For a contemporary twist, consider battery-operated
tea lights or LED candles that mimic the flicker of real flames. Dimmed overhead lights paired with these soft sources will bathe your home in a gentle, romantic glow.
3. Utilise Flowers Thoughtfully
Flowers are the quintessential Valentine’s Day decoration. While red roses are a classic choice, other blooms such as tulips, carnations, or peonies in pink, white, or lilac can create a softer, modern feel. Place flowers in unexpected corners – a small vase on the bathroom counter, a bouquet on a side table, or a single stem in a delicate glass jar on a shelf. Fresh flowers bring vitality to a room, while high-quality faux arrangements offer a stylish, reusable option.
4. Incorporate Heart Motifs and Personal Touches
Heart shapes provide a playful nod to the occasion. You don’t need to overdo it – small touches such as heart-shaped cushions, coasters, or framed prints can subtly enhance the theme. Personal elements, such as photographs of loved ones or handwritten
love notes displayed around the home, add warmth and authenticity. Consider creating a “love corner” with these items, turning a simple space into a cherished feature of your home.
5. Set the Dining Area for Romance
The dining table often becomes the heart of Valentine’s celebrations. A beautifully arranged table instantly elevates the atmosphere. Start with a soft table runner or linen in your chosen palette, and add candles, flowers, and elegant tableware. Little details such as decorative napkin rings, heart-shaped confetti, or handwritten place cards make any meal feel special.
6. Play with Textures
Layering textures adds depth and a sense of indulgence. Think velvet cushions, faux fur throws, silk ribbons, and soft rugs. Combining these tactile elements creates a space that feels luxurious and inviting. A plush throw draped over a sofa or a selection of cushions in varying fabrics instantly adds warmth and comfort, perfect for snuggling up on chilly February evenings.
7. Consider Scent and Sound
Romance engages all the senses. Essential oils, scented candles, or fresh blooms can create a delightful fragrance throughout the home. Meanwhile, soft background music – jazz, classical, or romantic ballads – completes the sensory experience, turning your living space into a haven for relaxation and connection.
8. Add a Touch of Whimsy
Finally, don’t be afraid to introduce a playful element. String lights, garlands, or hanging paper hearts can add charm without feeling over the top. A simple DIY project, such as a handmade garland or framed love quote, can personalise your décor and involve your partner or family in the preparation.
Decorating your home for Valentine’s Day is about creating an ambience that is intimate, stylish, and reflective of your personal taste. By thoughtfully combining colour, lighting, flowers, textures, and personal touches, you can transform your home into a romantic sanctuary. Whether celebrating with a
partner, family, or close friends, a well-decorated home fosters connection and joy, ensuring that Valentine’s Day feels truly special.
Our Journey of Passion
From humble, honest beginnings, Hästens has grown into one of the world’s most prestigious brands. Yet ours is a story bound by one thing.
Love.
Nestled in the forests of central Sweden, Hästens has been handcrafting beds since 1852. Founded by master saddler Pehr Adolf Janson, the company evolved from equestrian saddlery into sleep-making – a transition that left horsehair, linen, wool and meticulous stitchwork at the heart of its craft. What began as a practical pursuit became a philosophy: that true comfort is engineered slowly, by hand, using nature’s finest materials.
Across six generations, the family atelier in Köping has preserved traditional techniques where hundreds of hours of hand sewing, layered natural fillings and solid timber frames come together to create beds designed for both durability and breathability. Every Hästens bed is still made in-house, reflecting a steadfast commitment to craftsmanship over mass production and a belief that quality improves with time.
In 1952, Hästens was appointed Purveyor to the Swedish Royal Court, a distinction that cemented its standing as a national treasure and signalled its ascent into the world of luxury. Yet despite its royal endorsement, the brand remains understated –confident in its heritage rather than driven by trend.
Its instantly recognisable blue-check pattern, introduced in the late 1970s, has since become a symbol of Swedish design excellence, marking each
bed as a product of precision and provenance. Today, Hästens occupies a unique space between furniture and functional art. Each mattress is handlayered with curled horsetail that acts like thousands of tiny springs, finished with tailored ticking and designed to be repaired rather than replaced.

For discerning clients in Cheshire’s Golden Triangle, Hästens represents more than a bed –it is an investment in heritage, wellbeing and the enduring value of things made properly.
The Present Hästens’ story now continues closer to home with the arrival of its Wilmslow showroom, bringing more than 170 years of Swedish craftsmanship to the heart of Cheshire’s Golden Triangle. Long admired by design-led homeowners and wellness-conscious clients, the brand’s presence reflects the area’s growing appetite for interiors defined by quiet luxury and enduring quality.
Located on Wilmslow’s increasingly high-end Water Lane, the showroom sits among a new wave of premium destinations reshaping the town’s retail landscape. The space offers an immersive introduction to Hästens’ philosophy of sleep, where beds are not chosen hastily but carefully tailored to the individual. Visitors are encouraged to experience the brand’s natural materials – including horsehair, wool, cotton and flax – and to understand how each layer works in harmony to regulate temperature, relieve pressure and support restorative rest.
The Wilmslow showroom is owned by Bradley Podbur, whose vision is to introduce Hästens as a considered lifestyle investment rather than
a conventional retail purchase. He is joined by showroom manager Jake Lewin, whose expertise guides clients through a personalised fitting process, ensuring each bed is refined to suit both body and lifestyle. Together, they bring a discreet, serviceled approach that mirrors Hästens’ own values.
Set against Wilmslow’s reputation for craftsmanship and refined living, Hästens on Water Lane marks a natural meeting of Swedish heritage and Cheshire sophistication “where there is a Hastens for everybody’’ says Jake.
A Tailored Introduction
Call in to the Hästens Wilmslow showroom on Water Lane to browse the collection and experience the craftsmanship firsthand, or book a personal shopping appointment for a more tailored introduction. Whether you are curious to explore the materials, understand the fitting process or refine your sleep in detail, the team offers a discreet, unhurried service designed around you. Appointments allow for dedicated time with a sleep advisor to ensure every element is considered, from comfort and support to design and finish. An invitation to discover sleep, done properly.
The Latest Chapter
Keep an eye on Cheshire’s Golden Triangle website, cheshiresgoldentriangle.com, for exciting updates about Hästens’ integration into the local community. Plans are underway for a series of networking collaborations, connecting design, lifestyle, and wellness enthusiasts across the region. The highlight will be a champagne reception in February, celebrating Hästens’ arrival and its commitment to Cheshire’s Golden Triangle. The event promises a stylish gathering, offering the chance to meet the team, explore the showroom, and experience the brand’s signature craftsmanship. It’s set to be a sparkling introduction to a new chapter in local luxury and lifestyle.

SECURITY STARTS AT HOME
Cheshire’s Golden Triangle – taking in Alderley Edge, Prestbury and Wilmslow – is synonymous with elegant homes, mature landscapes and a high standard of living. While the area benefits from strong community ties and relatively low crime rates, moving into a premium property brings specific safety and security considerations. A wellplanned approach from day one can help protect both your home and the people within it.
Know the Local Landscape
Affluent locations can be attractive to opportunistic crime, particularly burglary and vehicle theft. New residents should take time to understand local crime patterns and speak to neighbours or community groups. Many streets benefit from active neighbourhood watch schemes, which play a key role in maintaining the area’s sense of security.
Review and Upgrade Physical Security
Properties in the Golden Triangle range from grand period houses to contemporary new builds, and security standards can vary significantly. Doors and windows should meet modern, insurance-approved specifications, including multi-point locks and robust frames. For older homes, sympathetic upgrades – such as discreet reinforcements or heritage-style fittings – can improve security
without detracting from original features.
Smart Systems for Modern Living
Smart technology has become a popular choice for homeowners seeking both convenience and protection. Monitored intruder alarms, CCTV, motion-activated lighting and smart locks act as visible deterrents while allowing remote monitoring via smartphones. Integrated systems can also include fire and carbon monoxide alerts, providing early warnings whether occupants are at home or away.

Fire Safety: A Critical Consideration

Monitored intruder alarms, CCTV, motion-activated lighting and smart locks act as visible deterrents while allowing remote monitoring via smartphones. Integrated systems can also include fire and carbon monoxide alerts, providing early warnings whether occupants are at home or away.
If undertaking renovations or upgrades, have electrical systems checked by a qualified professional and confirm that materials meet current fire-safety standards. For larger homes, fire extinguishers and fire blankets in key areas can provide added reassurance, and clearly planned escape routes are essential for families and guests alike.
Perimeter and Outdoor Safety
Spacious plots and long driveways are common in the Golden Triangle but can create hidden access points. Secure gates, well-maintained boundaries and thoughtful lighting improve visibility without compromising kerb appeal. Outbuildings and garages should be protected with the same level of security – and fire detection – as the main house.
Community Awareness Matters
Strong community engagement remains one of the area’s greatest assets. Getting to know neighbours, joining local groups and maintaining a visible presence all contribute to a safer environment. A home that appears occupied and well cared for is far less likely to attract unwanted attention.
With the right balance of security and fire-safety measures in place, homeowners can fully enjoy the lifestyle that makes Cheshire’s Golden Triangle such a desirable place to live.

DEBBIE BOARDMAN
REDEFINING PRIME PROPERTY IN CHESHIRE’S GOLDEN TRIANGLE
by Jacqui Priestley
In Cheshire’s Golden Triangle, where discretion, lifestyle, and location matter as much as architecture, Debbie Boardman has built a reputation as one of the area’s most trusted names in prime property. As founder of Sovereign Properties, Debbie represents a modern breed of estate agent –strategic, relationship-driven, and deeply attuned to the evolving expectations of high-value buyers.
Known for achieving standout results, often through private auction and off-market sales, Debbie believes success in today’s market comes down to confidence and clarity.
“Buyers are more selective than ever,” she explains. “They want transparency, strong presentation, and a clear process. The way properties are sold has had to evolve.”
One of the methods that sets Sovereign Properties apart is Debbie’s use of private auction. Unlike traditional listings, this approach creates a controlled, time-defined environment where only qualified buyers are invited to participate. “At the top end, overexposure can work against you,” she says. “Private auction creates momentum while maintaining discretion. It encourages competition in a way that feels professional and secure.”
That sense of precision reflects Debbie’s wider philosophy. She believes three elements are critical to selling successfully in the prime market: presentation, positioning, and pricing. “Buyers expect homes to be turnkey,” she says. “They also want to understand the lifestyle –privacy, setting, and how the property fits into their day-to-day life. And pricing must be realistic enough to attract engagement while still protecting value.”
Lifestyle is central to Debbie’s approach, particularly when it comes to country and equestrian properties, a sector she knows intimately. A lifelong horse lover, Debbie has a genuine passion for homes with land, stabling, and rural character. “Equestrian buyers are very specific,” she explains.
“They’re looking at access, land quality, planning potential – not just the house itself. You have to understand that world to market those properties properly.” Debbie markets equestrian estates through show-horse videos, portraying performance and how established properties reflect real life.
This authenticity has helped Debbie build lasting trust with clients, as well as an extensive professional network that has earned her the nickname ‘The Networking Queen’ of Cheshire’s Golden Triangle. Years of cultivating strong relationships with solicitors, wealth managers, developers, and local families mean many of her sales happen quietly, away from the open market.
“In this area, trust is everything,” Debbie says. “When people know you operate with integrity and discretion, they come to you early – and that’s often when the best opportunities arise.”
For homeowners considering selling in the Golden Triangle, Debbie’s advice is simple but strategic: prepare early, seek honest guidance, and choose an agent who understands both market data and buyer psychology. “This market rewards realism and expertise,” she notes. “It’s not about inflated prices; it’s about achieving the best possible outcome.”
Beyond property, Debbie is a strong advocate for meaningful networking within the local business community as co-host of CGT Networking. “Real connections aren’t transactional,” she says. “They’re built on consistency, generosity, and showing up. If you focus on adding value, the opportunities follow naturally.”
In a market defined by sophistication and subtlety, Debbie Boardman continues to set a new standard – combining modern strategy with old-fashioned trust, and a genuine love for the lifestyle her clients seek.

A VALENTINE’S WALK
THROUGH 50 ACRES OF CHESHIRE GARDENS
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to mean candlelit dinners or crowded restaurants. Sometimes, the most memorable moments are found in the quiet beauty of nature, hand in hand, wandering through landscapes that have been centuries in the making. This year, why not trade the predictable for the enchanting, and take your Valentine on a stroll through one of Cheshire’s National Trust gardens? The air is crisp, the landscapes serene, and the opportunities for shared wonder endless.
Start your day at Lyme Park, where the grandeur of history meets the serenity of nature. The moment you step onto the estate, you’re greeted by rolling parkland and the elegant silhouette of Lyme Hall, its stately architecture framed by towering trees. The formal garden terraces are particularly striking in winter; their bare yet structured beauty reveals the garden’s underlying architecture, allowing you to appreciate the delicate interplay of geometry and nature. Walking along Lime Avenue, the path lined with stoic lime trees, it’s easy to imagine centuries of lovers, families, and wanderers taking the same path, pausing to marvel at reflections in the ponds or the rustle of wildlife through the undergrowth. There’s a gentle magic here, a sense that time slows down, making space for conversations, quiet laughter, or simply the pleasure of being together. When the cold starts to nibble at your fingers, a pause for a shared
hot drink or a small picnic on a bench overlooking the expansive parkland becomes its own little romantic ritual.
For something more intimate, Hare Hill offers a quieter, almost secretive kind of romance. Tucked away in a wooded corner of Cheshire, this garden feels like a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. The walled garden cradles early blooms of
rhododendrons and magnolias, their subtle colours hinting at the promise of spring. Wandering through the winding paths of Hare Hill, you can’t help but feel cocooned, wrapped in the whispers of leaves and birdsong. There’s a softness here, an intimacy that feels personal, as if the garden exists solely for the two of you to explore together. Take your time to pause on a bench, letting the quiet envelop you, listening to the sound of the wind through the trees while fingers brush lightly together. In a garden like this, romance isn’t shouted—it’s whispered, and that makes every moment feel a little more precious.
If you’re looking for variety, Tatton Park is an invitation to a day-long adventure through landscapes that shift with every turn. Fifty acres of gardens await, each offering a different atmosphere and a new opportunity for wonder. The Italian Garden exudes formality and elegance, while the
Japanese Garden offers tranquility and reflection, its delicate bridges and water features creating a sense of timeless beauty. In winter, snowdrops and witch hazel begin to peek through, promising life and colour even in the quieter months. As you wander, you might find a secluded bench tucked between hedges, perfect for a quiet conversation or a stolen kiss. Later, a stop at the nearby café for a warming drink brings the perfect conclusion to your meandering through the gardens, letting you pause and savour the simple pleasure of togetherness in a setting that feels both vast and intimate at the same time.
There’s something inherently romantic about National Trust gardens, especially in winter.
The bare trees, the crisp air, the subtle promise of early blooms—all of it creates a backdrop that invites reflection, conversation, and connection. You don’t need extravagant gestures here; romance lives in the shared moments: the brush of a hand, the pause to admire a view, the laughter as you discover a hidden corner together. Each garden tells a story,
Hare Hill
Lyme Park
and as you walk through them side by side, you become part of it.
Timing makes all the difference. Mid-afternoon is perfect, when the soft winter light bathes the gardens in golden hues and the long shadows create drama and intimacy. Dress warmly, with scarves and gloves that make you want to snuggle closer as you walk, and perhaps bring along a thermos with tea or
cocoa. These little comforts transform a simple walk into a cozy, romantic experience.
In Lyme Park, consider lingering by the ponds as the sun dips lower, the reflections on the water shimmering like a secret between you two. At Hare Hill, let your curiosity guide you down every hidden path, delighting in the small discoveries and quiet surprises the garden offers. And at Tatton Park, allow the diversity of the gardens to carry you from one mood to another, from playful exploration to quiet reflection, each space offering a different note in your shared symphony of the day.
Valentine’s Day is, at its heart, about connection, and there’s no better way to connect than to walk together, immersed in beauty that’s centuries in the making, surrounded by history, nature, and the quiet poetry of the seasons. Cheshire’s National Trust gardens are more than just a place to visit — they are a canvas for memory-making, a setting for love that feels timeless, yet wonderfully immediate.
So this Valentine’s, skip the crowded restaurants and the predictable gifts. Take the hand of your beloved and step into a world where history and nature intertwine, where the air smells of winter and early blooms, and where every path leads to a moment you’ll both remember. Whether it’s the grandeur of Lyme Park, the secluded intimacy of Hare Hill, or the endless variety of Tatton Park, a garden walk in Cheshire promises not just beauty, but connection – quiet, profound, and deeply romantic.

Five Minutes With:
Nick Rusling of Greater Manchester Wellbeing Series
In this edition, we speak with Nick Rusling about the Greater Manchester Wellbeing Series –a bold, city-wide initiative aiming to transform how organisations approach workforce wellbeing. With landmark events that bring movement, mindfulness and connection to the heart of working life, the series is redefining what inclusive wellbeing looks like at scale. From global businesses to local teams, its mission is simple but powerful: workforce wellbeing for all. To learn more, visit www.gmwellbeingseries.com.
JP: Nick - For readers who may be new to it, how would you describe the Greater Manchester Wellbeing Series — and why does it matter right now?
NR: Think of it as a movement to reboot workforce wellbeing across Greater Manchester. We’re creating two massive city-wide moments: The Greater Manchester Wellbeing Run & Walk on May 21st and Greater Manchester Meditation on October 22nd. Two Events. One Mission. Workforce Wellbeing for All. Focused on mental and physical health tools at everyone’s disposal.
The old way of thinking about wellbeing isn’t working. We’re seeing record levels of burnout and loneliness at work. This isn’t a tick-box exercise;
it’s a powerful, visible way for leaders to prove they care about their most important asset; their people. We’re giving every single organisation, from a familyrun business in Bury to a global tech firm in the city centre, the simplest tools to build stronger, healthier, and more connected teams.
JP: When you look ahead to 2026, what excites you most about what the series could become?
NR: Greater Manchester is once again leading from the front. I’ve delivered events all over the world, and nowhere has the spirit of collaboration and civic pride that this city-region has. We’re launching a world-first here for a reason.
My biggest excitement is seeing thousands of people who’ve never done a workplace event before crossing that finish line. We’re not just for the runners. We’re for the walkers, the first-timers, the teams who want a shared goal that isn’t a spreadsheet. In 2026, we will see the entire workforce, from cleaners to CEOs, teachers to tech founders, moving and meditating together. That’s not just an event; that’s a cultural shift. And it’s starting right here.
JP: Wellbeing can mean very different things to different people – how do you make sure the programme speaks to that variety across Greater Manchester?
NR: Great question. We simplify it by focusing on the three pillars of health: physical, mental,
And, critically, social. One in two people feel lonely at work; that’s a shocking statistic we have to tackle head-on.
Our answer is radical inclusivity. The Wellbeing Run & Walk isn’t a marathon; it’s a 5.5K run and, crucially, a 2K walk. The walk is the hero. It’s designed for every body. It’s a permission slip for everyone to get out of the office and connect.
Everyone is different. Wellbeing is complex. We are addressing it is by simplifying wellbeing through the most accessible tools at all our disposal; movement of the body and reducing noise in the mind. Running, walking, wheeling, meditation and mindfulness are available for us all - and they are free.
For mental wellbeing, we’re reframing meditation. Forget passive mindfulness. Greater Manchester Meditation is a city-wide mental workout. We use a science-backed, 3 minute format to train the brain, improve focus, and build resilience against stress. It’s performance enhancement for the demands of modern work, accessible to absolutely everyone.
JP: Are there any moments or stories from past events that really stayed with you and shaped your thinking for 2026?
NR: I’ve seen millions of people cross finish lines, and my favourite moments are always watching the people who thought they couldn’t do it, achieve it. The person who walked the whole way, encouraged by their colleagues. The team that finishes together, arm-in-arm. The finish line is the same for everyone, whether you’re first or last.
That’s the magic we’re bottling. It’s that shared moment of achievement. We want people to train together, to build that social safety net at work, and to celebrate a collective win. The medal you get is a symbol of that shared journey. It represents a company culture that values connection as much as it values results.
JP: How do you balance expert-led content with lived experience and community voices?
NR: It’s simple: experts provide the credibility, but community stories provide the inspiration.
We’ll have the logic for why a 3-minute meditation sharpens your focus, but the story that will truly resonate is from the finance director in Oldham who uses it to stay calm before a big meeting.
We will amplify the voices of real people from across all ten Boroughs; the walking group from a primary school, the running club from a construction site. Their stories are the ripple effect that will turn this from a series of events into a genuine movement.
JP: If someone attends just one event in 2026, what do you hope they walk away feeling or thinking?
NR: I hope they walk away feeling two things. Firstly, more connected to their colleagues than ever before. And secondly, an immense sense of pride in being part of a city-region that genuinely cares about its people’s wellbeing. That they feel part of something bigger than just their job; part of a movement to make Greater Manchester the best place in the world to live and work.
Join Care UK’s nationwide ‘Big Dementia Conversation’
Did you know that nearly four in 10 people (39%) avoid visiting relatives living with dementia because of how difficult it can be to communicate and connect * ?
Dementia can change the way someone communicates. Messages in the brain may take longer to reach the right place, which can make conversations more challenging.
As dementia progresses, families and friends may feel unsure how to stay connected. In a national survey, nearly all respondents (93%) said communication barriers made meaningful interaction harder, but it doesn’t have to be this way. Understanding why communication becomes more challenging is the fi rst step in remaining connected with your loved one.
Staying connected
We know many families feel they don’t have enough support with communication after their loved one develops dementia. That’s why Care UK created Staying connected: a guide to dementia-friendly conversations
This guide offers support for family members and friends to understand some of the ways dementia can impact a person’s ability to communicate and provides advice for making day-to-day communication less stressful. We share practical tips to help you communicate more easily and confidently with your loved ones.

CARE AND CONNECTION
Care and connection… are words that sound comforting even before you start unpacking them. Together, they describe something quietly powerful: the everyday things that help older and vulnerable people feel alive, valued and still very much part of the world, rather than tucked away at the edges of it. Keeping active, staying socially connected and holding on to a sense of humour are not luxuries in later life; they are essentials, as important as a warm coat or a good cup of tea.
Staying active doesn’t have to mean Lycra, personal trainers or anything that makes you wince at your knees in sympathy. For many older people, activity is about movement with purpose and pleasure.
A short walk to the shops, tending a small garden, stretching in the living room while the kettle boils, or dancing gently to a favourite song from years gone by all count. Movement keeps joints moving, circulation flowing and confidence intact. It helps people feel capable rather than cautious, and that feeling seeps into every part of life.
There’s also a quiet psychological boost that comes from being active. Doing something, however modest it might seem, gives shape to the day. It says, “I am still here, and I still do things.” For vulnerable people, especially those managing illness or reduced mobility, this sense of agency
matters enormously. It’s the difference between life happening to you and life still being something you take part in.
Social interaction plays a similarly crucial role, and its absence can be felt sharply. Humans are social creatures from cradle to grave, and age doesn’t dull the need for connection. In fact, for many people, retirement, bereavement or health changes can shrink social circles just when they are needed most. A friendly chat, a shared laugh, or the simple ritual of seeing familiar faces can lift spirits in a way that no prescription ever could.
Conversation keeps minds agile too. It sparks memory, curiosity and attention, whether it’s discussing the news, reminiscing about childhood holidays or debating whether the weather really was better “back then”. Social interaction reminds people that their stories still matter, that their
opinions are still worth hearing. For older and vulnerable people, being listened to is a form of respect, and respect is deeply nourishing.
Then there’s humour, often underestimated but quietly heroic. A sense of humour doesn’t erase difficulty, but it softens its edges. It allows people to acknowledge life’s absurdities without being overwhelmed by them. Laughing at a creaky knee, a misplaced pair of glasses or the sheer number of appointments written on the calendar can be an act of resilience. It says, “This is tricky, but it’s not the whole story.”
Shared laughter is particularly powerful. It creates instant connection, even between people who don’t know each other well. A joke exchanged with a carer, a cheeky comment at a coffee morning, or a burst of giggles over a memory that grows more embellished each time it’s told can turn an ordinary moment into a bright one. Humour builds bridges where words alone sometimes struggle.
Importantly, humour also preserves dignity. Being able to laugh at yourself, and to be laughed with rather than laughed at, helps people feel human rather than fragile. It pushes back against the idea that ageing is only about loss. There is still wit, mischief and personality there, often sharpened by experience.
Care and connection come together most beautifully in everyday relationships. Good care is not just about tasks completed efficiently; it’s about how those tasks are carried out. A carer who chats while helping with breakfast, who remembers a favourite
biscuit or shares a gentle joke, is offering more than practical support. They are reinforcing connection, identity and warmth. For family members and friends, small gestures of time and attention can be just as meaningful as grand efforts.
Communities matter too. When older and vulnerable people feel visible and welcome in their neighbourhoods, everyone benefits. A wave from a passer-by, a few words at the bus stop, or a regular visit to a local café can anchor someone to the wider world. These moments say, “You belong here.”
Ultimately, care and connection are about recognising that a good life doesn’t have an expiry date. Keeping active, socially engaged and able to laugh is not about pretending that ageing or vulnerability doesn’t bring challenges. It’s about ensuring that those challenges don’t eclipse joy, purpose or human warmth. In the end, a shared laugh, a gentle walk and a friendly conversation might just be some of the most powerful forms of care we have.
NETWORKING REIMAGINED
Networking. For some, the word brings to mind stiff handshakes, intimidating agendas, and endless requests for referrals. Traditional models like BNI work for certain people, but let’s be honest –they can feel a bit… old-fashioned. Weekly meetings, strict rules, and several hundreds of pounds in membership fees (actually as much as £1500 with a year’s membership and joining fee, currently) make it feel like a business chore rather than a community you actually want to be part of.
Cheshire’s Golden Triangle Networking, founded by Jacqui Priestley and co-hosted by Debbie Boardman of Sovereign Properties, is flipping that script.
‘’Imagine a networking group that’s fun, friendly, and completely inclusive – one where you don’t have to worry about fees, quotas, or being “on the clock.” That’s right: there are no membership fees. Ever. The focus is on people, ideas, and genuine connections – not paperwork or payments.
Meetings feel less like formal business sessions and more like conversations you actually enjoy. No 90’s-style PowerPoint presentations. No outdated titles – “President,” “Vice President,” or “Treasurer.” Just modern, first-name terms –everyone treated equally, with every voice valued. There’s no pressure to be practised or perfect –you won’t need to recite a script about who you are
or what your business does, and there’s no need to end your ‘’60 seconds’’ with a quirky statement. (What on earth is that about?)
You can just be yourself, natural and off the cuff! Inclusivity is at the heart of CGT Networking. Everyone is welcome, and every voice matters.
Walton Gardens
It’s a space where creativity, experience, and perspective are celebrated, not filtered through rigid rules. Unlike traditional networking, where structure sometimes overshadows the people, here the people – and the relationships – come first.
And let’s not forget the fun factor. This isn’t networking you have to endure – it’s networking you look forward to. Laugh, learn, and connect with peers who genuinely want to see you succeed. The atmosphere is upbeat, encouraging, and full of energy, making it easy to leave a meeting with new ideas, potential collaborations, and maybe even a new friend or two.
In a world where professional networking often feels transactional, Cheshire’s Golden Triangle is refreshingly different. By removing fees, ditching outdated formalities, and putting people at the centre, it’s building a community where connections thrive naturally. It’s networking reimagined: welcoming, enjoyable, and rewarding for everyone involved.
For anyone tired of the old-school, stiff approach, Cheshire’s Golden Triangle proves networking doesn’t have to be daunting –it can be modern, inclusive, and genuinely exciting.

CULLIMORE DUTTON’S ARRIVAL IN KNUTSFORD
With a reputation built on trust, expertise and enduring client relationships, Cullimore Dutton has long been a respected legal presence in Chester. As the firm opens its doors in Knutsford, marking an exciting expansion into Cheshire’s Golden Triangle, we speak to the team about growth, community, and the values that continue to guide them at every stage of their journey.
JP: Cullimore Dutton has strong roots in Chester – what inspired the move into Knutsford, and why does the Golden Triangle feel like the right next chapter for the firm?
CD: Our roots in Chester span over 230 years and we are committed to growing in Cheshireour history and our people are here and it’s where we understand the communities and clients we serve. Expanding into Knutsford brings us closer to some of the clients we already support, while also allowing us to build new relationships.
Knutsford stood out after careful consideration. It has a strong and vibrant town centre, a thriving local business scene and a professional community that values trusted advice and longterm relationships. In many ways, it reminds us of Chester - relationship-led, independent in spirit and focused on quality rather than volume.

JP: Law is often seen as purely technical, but relationships are at the heart of great legal work. How does Cullimore Dutton build long-lasting trust and loyalty with its clients?
CD: While technical expertise is essential, it’s never enough on its own. Clients come to us at important and often emotional moments in their lives; planning for the future, navigating family change or dealing with loss and trust is fundamental in those situations. We take time to understand the wider context of our clients’ lives, and by bringing together specialist solicitors and independent financial advisers under one roof, we’re able to provide joined-up advice that supports clients over the long term. Many of our client relationships span generations, which is something we are incredibly proud of.
JP: Knutsford is known for its close-knit community and thriving local businesses. How do you plan to embed yourselves into the town and support the people and enterprises there?
CD: Being part of a town means more than simply having an office address. We opened our Knutsford office at Booths Park in October 2025 to establish a presence, and focus on getting to know Knutsford properly. We’ve welcomed clients locally and spent time meeting local professionals, business owners and the people who live and work here, as well as connecting with community organisations. Building relationships based on trust and shared values is central to how we operate.
Through initiatives such as Inspire Cheshire and Inspire Business Circle, we actively celebrate local
businesses, professionals and the community. As we move towards opening our high street office this year, our aim is to deepen that involvement and be an accessible, engaged part of Knutsford’s professional and community life.
JP: As a growing firm, what values or principles do you refuse to compromise on, even as you expand into new locations?
CD: Integrity, excellent client service and a peoplefirst culture are non-negotiable for us. Growth should always strengthen the firm rather than dilute what makes it special. That means remaining a specialist practice, continuing to invest in our people and ensuring clients feel known, supported and valued.

JP: This Valentine’s edition celebrates connection and commitment – what does ‘commitment’ mean to you when it comes to clients, staff, and the wider Cheshire community?
CD: Commitment, for us, is about longevity. For our clients, it means standing alongside them over time and providing advice that supports them at different stages of their lives. For our team, it means creating a supportive environment where people can develop, thrive and build meaningful careers.
For Knutsford and the wider Cheshire community, commitment means being present, contributing positively and supporting the people and organisations that make the town and county such desirable places to live and work.
JP: Looking ahead, what excites you most about this new Knutsford office, and how do you hope clients will feel when they walk through the door for the first time?
CD: Most exciting is the opportunity to build something lasting in Knutsford. Our current office at
Booths Park has allowed us to begin that journey, and the forthcoming high street office will be a natural progression of our commitment to the town.
Whether clients visit us at Booths Park now, or on the high street later this year, we want them to feel listened to and reassured from the moment they walk through the door. We have a clear vision for the space we will create on the high street and above all we want clients to feel welcomed, comfortable and confident they are in the right place.
As Cullimore Dutton begins this new chapter in Knutsford, their expansion is clearly rooted in more than growth alone. With a continued focus on relationships, integrity and community, the firm’s presence in the Golden Triangle looks set to be one built to last.
