6TH ANNUAL SWIMSUIT DRIVE NOW THROUGH MAY 20

Back for the sixth year, we are holding an association-wide Swimsuit Drive collecting new and gently used suits for youth enrolled in our 2026 grant-based Swim Lessons.

Did you know that two of the biggest barriers families face when wanting to provide swim lessons for their children are transportation and cost – both for the lessons and swimsuits? Through a swim lesson grant awarded by Y-USA, the Lincoln Y will teach more than 150 children how to swim this summer, along with life-saving water safety skills.

HOW TO HELP

• Drop off a swimsuit at any of our four Lincoln locations now through May 20

• Sizes needed are school age XS-XL for boys and girls (one piece preferred)

• Monetary gifts can be made at the Front Desk of any Lincoln YMCA

• Everyone who donates will be entered in a raffle to win a FREE session of group Swim Lessons

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD

HEALTHY KIDS DAY

On April 11, the Fallbrook Y hosted Healthy Kids Day, the YMCA’s national initiative aimed to help inspire healthy habits in kids and families. Participants were able to engage with several community partners through fun activities and games.

EGYM AT THE COOPER Y

Last month, we launched EGYM, a smart strength circuit workout, at the Cooper YMCA. Since launching a few weeks ago, we already have over 250 members onboarded! We are so excited to be offering this new equipment to members.

PERSHING CLC BASKETBALL TEAM

Congratulations to our Pershing Community Learning Center (CLC) basketball team for winning the CLC Tournament last month! Out of 22 schools that competed, Pershing came out on top and brought home the championship. We’re so proud of the team for their hard work, teamwork, and dedication throughout the tournament.
