KICK OFF SUMMER WITH US AT HEALTHY KIDS DAY ON APRIL 12!

The Lincoln YMCA is celebrating Healthy Kids Day, the Y’s national initiative aimed to help inspire healthy habits in kids and families. Sponsored nationally by Peanuts, Healthy Kids Day’s mission is to prepare Lincoln community families for a safe, healthy, and fun summer.

Held from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Fallbrook YMCA (700 Penrose Drive), this FREE event features healthy activities, kid-friendly fitness demos, cook-along, bounce house, raffle drawings, and community vendors onsite.

The YMCA hopes to use the day to get more kids moving, learning, and creating healthy habits that they can continue while away from the classroom. Healthy Kids Day is a reminder to families that the Y can help ensure all children have access to what they need to reach their full potential, even during out-of-school time.

"It is so important for kids to stay active over the summer, both physically and mentally. At the Y, we believe in providing resources for families to create healthy habits, no matter the time of year. Healthy Kids Day is a free event that helps families explore the many summer resources available through the Y and our community partners."
