FEES & FINANCE Sorting out your finances whilst studying for your degree doesn’t need to feel overwhelming. Here’s the key information, kept simple, so you can focus on building your future at LMA. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT FINANCE MADE SIMPLE Most UK students can apply for: • A Tuition Fee Loan to cover your course fees • Maintenance loans to help with living costs are means-tested, so eligibility and amounts will depend on your personal circumstances. Using the Student Finance calculator can give an estimate, but it does not guarantee a loan.

Apply as early as you can,ideally before May in the year you are wishing to start your studies, to avoid delays. You can apply up to 9 months after the start date of your course.

Student finance is available to full-time and part-time students who meet the eligibility rules for student finance. If you are eligible for a maintenance loan it will be paid directly into your bank account by the ‘Student Loans Company’ once you have enrolled and started attending your course, the loan is paid in three termly instalments.
