Team Loyalty!!

The end of the year is closely approaching as we move into the 4th quarter. Thank you again to everyone for all your hard work that everyone puts in everyday, you guys are still doing an amazing job even with everything that has gone on in the past year and we are slowly getting back to normal which is exciting. Don’t forget to check out the monthly newsletters electronically, on the Issuu app so that you can share your hard work to your friends and family! There are many new events and Kings games so make sure to check that out so you can request games or other events for you and your families. The Kings are doing great this year and I haven’t gotten any requests for games, so be sure to take part in this great opportunity. Keep doing an amazing job Team Loyalty and let’s make the rest of 2021 amazing and we hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and family!!

Letter from the President

Hello Team Loyalty,

I want to thank you for all your challenging work, patience, and dedication to Team Loyalty. I know we are all struggling through this pandemic and all the side effects that have come along with it. It could be a family, a friend, or a coworker, that has put more demands on us and our responsibilities that come with day-to-day life whether at work or at home. I am hoping that one day these arduous demands will no longer be our norm. I would like to ask that we all take a moment for John Mark and keep him in our thoughts and prayers for a full recovery. We are diligently working on finding more team members it has been a terribly slow process for all of us. We have never had issues with recruiting to our team ever in the almost 30 years I have been a part of this industry. This is just another side effect of this crazy pandemic. We will get through this!!!

On a lighter note, we are doing extremely well at the store level. October in store sales and pawn service charges were greater than 2020 October in store numbers which is terrific. Excellent job team! Let us do our best to keep the revenue numbers strong throughout this holiday season as we have had good revenue numbers our expense numbers have also been on the rise. Which is typical of the end of the year but as we are all experiencing everything is costing each of us more. (Can you believe the price of GAS!!).

Less than then two months left in the year lets finish strong. Do not forget about the Golden 1 Arena events, the Kings are more exciting than they have been in a long time, finally. I would like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving to each of you and your families.

Happy Holidays,

Loyalty Pawn Family

Greetings Loyalty Family,

First things first I would like to thank everyone who assisted in getting the West Sacramento store moved over to Broadway we couldn’t have done it without you. This transition was pretty seamless with very little hurdles so thanks all of you Ramsey, Mark, Tony, Paul, Marcos, Tito, and Jason big shout out to all of you and your teams for letting us borrow you for this move. With that being said , the long road of organizing and getting this train moving at full speed is underway including our eBay operation. I can’t believe we are already in November time really does fly when you’re busy. One of my favorite holidays is here Thanksgiving I would like to thank you all for your commitment to the company and all it’s moving parts in process. We are excited in the direction we are going towards and the opportunities this opens up for us. I am thankful for all of our Loyalty Family and everything we have crated. This month we are going to get to know Princella the newest Team member to the Florin Mall team.

Thank you,

Shop Talk Manager Updates

Team Loyalty,

“If you ain’t first, you’re last.” Ricky Bobby and that’s what happen when Florin decided to pull the “shake and bake” on us we fell short of $1,850 to beat them. Well, it’s on now November is here and I hope everyone is still healthy and safe. It was still a great month for us here great job team Elco. A couple of things moving around here, first I want to welcome and congratulate Tyrah Walls our newest team member she’s a natural second week she lands a whopping 4k in sales great job!! We are still seeking for new team members every week as the resumes keep coming in. We are getting ready for the holidays hope everyone spends them with their loves ones. Our Layaways are being picked up and the luxury bags are a hit just because Louis Vuitton doesn’t offer layaway. Also, we are stocked up for the Holidays thank you team Bway! We are currently at 851k in sales trending to hit that 1 million dollar mark and this is our first year with Loyalty Luxury open whooohoooo! Always pushing for more hopefully we end the 4th quarter beyond my expectations. The count down is on and I hope everyone has a great month!! Lets goo Team Elco!!

Florin Mall

Loyalty Pawn Families,

Wow, I can’t believe 2021 is almost over. Team Florin just on board a new member to our team. Her name is Princella, we are excited to have her join our team and she is moving and catching on fast. Princella was a previous employee that worked with us back then. I would like everyone to reach out and introduce yourself to Princella if you haven't yet. Well, what's going on with the Florin Store. I am excited to say that team Florin has a big goal for this the month of November. We are going to shoot to hit our yearly sales goal early. We are planning to hit the $1 million mark by the end of November. As we all can see all the location is growing, which is great news. Team Florin is still holding strong with a $1.5 almost $1.6million loan balance. We are working hard and organizing our warehouse to make room the tsunami of loans that is coming in. Well, thanksgiving is around the corner, and I want to thank Loyalty Pawn for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the family. Team Florin want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Eat a lot and stay safe everyone. Here is a small quote for the mind “ The mind is like water. When it’s turbulent, it’s difficult to see. When it’s calm, everything becomes clear. “

Roseville

Hello Team Loyalty,

I hope everyone had a fun, safe, and spooky Halloween! I know the Roseville team is really looking forward to having a great holiday season. Q4 is typically our best time of the year for sales and with the national product shortage we have a great opportunity for growth. This is a great time to gain new customers that have never been into a pawnshop before and show off all the awesome products we carry. I think right now we have a huge opportunity to grow our brand and if each store can take a few minutes a week to post on Facebook the product we have in each store and why shopping at a pawnshop is a smart alternative to the big box stores, we can gain a lot of new clients. Let’s be proactive and post all the cool stuff we sell that no other stores have right now.

Broadway and West Sacramento

Hello Team,

Team Broadway/ West Sacramento has big plans to not only solidify being the second biggest store in the company, but we are coming for that number one spot so watch out team Florin. The team and I have been working extremely hard to get Broadway organized and one of my favorite words functional. I want to give a big thanks to everyone who helped getting this transition accomplished we couldn’t have done it without you all. As we have gotten eBay up and started Jason and I have a strong goal for him this month. Let’s all help him achieve his goal by sending us clean and tested items so we’re not wasting time on the back end. Remember we all benefit from our eBay sales especially with this aggressive growth we’ve been having. Lastly, we would like to congratulate Ricardo Molina for his transition into the Assistant manager position for this location. Jason and Tito have been working relentlessly to get this train rolling. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone to all of you guys and your families!

November is American Diabetes Month

Diabetes is a chronic health condition that affects how your body is able to turn food into energy. The food you eat is broken down into sugar (glucose) and released into your bloodstream. As your blood sugar goes up, your pancreas releases insulin. This allows the blood sugar to enter your body’s cells for use as energy. A person with diabetes doesn’t make enough insulin or can’t properly use insulin.

There are two main types of diabetes-Have you ever wondered? Type 1 diabetes occurs when your pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin. This type of diabetes is usually diagnosed in children, teens and young adults, but it can develop at any age. Type 2 diabetes occurs when your cells don’t respond normally to insulin, which is known as insulin resistance. Out of the 34 million Americans with diabetes, approximately 90%

95% of them have Type 2diabetes.

What are the symptoms of diabetes?

Diabetes symptoms vary depending on how much your blood sugar is elevated. People with Type 2 diabetes may not initially experience any symptoms. However, those with Type 1 diabetes may experience severe symptoms that can develop in a short amount of time.

Signs and symptoms of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes may include:

• Thirst

• Frequent urination

• Extreme hunger your risk of getting sick

• Unexplained weight loss

• The presence of ketones in the urine

• Fatigue

• Blurred vision

• Slow-healing sores

• Frequent infections (e.g., gum, skin or vaginal infections)

How can you address diabetes?

In order to properly manage diabetes, it’s important to do the following: Monitor your blood sugar. Carefully monitoring your blood sugar is the only way to make sure your blood sugar is within your target range. Undergo insulin therapy, if prescribed. Many people with diabetes need insulin therapy to survive. There are multiple types of insulin available. Depending on your needs, your doctor may prescribe a mixture of insulin types to use throughout the day and night.

Eat healthy. Enjoy a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains, avoiding foods high in saturated fats and refined carbohydrates.

Monthly Moves: Burpees

This exercise works your core, as well as your chest, shoulders, lats, triceps and quads. Since burpees involve explosive plyometric movement, they’ll get your heart pumping too.

How to do burpees:

1. Stand with your feet shoulder-distance apart and send your hips back as you lower your body toward the ground in a low squat.

2. Place your hands right outside of your feet and hop your feet back, allowing your chest to touch the floor.

3. Push your hands against the floor to lift your body up into a plank and then jump your feet just outside of your hands.

4. If you want to add an extra challenge: With your weight in your heels, jump explosively into the air with your arms overhead.

The Full Beaver Moon

This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon.
